I am preseting you the Rings of Power Casio AE 1200 models. the Orcs & Elves versions, hand painted by me, with conversion kits from SKX mod, hope you enjoy the process but also the result! :)

The prices of some of those mod parts are ridiculous the whole point of modding these was low cost.

The idea behind these is to improve a watch that has much more value than Casio prices it. Rather than think of it as tacking on $X amount onto a $30 watch. You're buying the parts to make a $X watch that has a $30 movment

I just did a review on the SKXMOD Casio kit and it really elevates the watch big time. I also added a leather strap from Vario as well as a lug adaptor kit.

An analogue watch... or an F105 skxmod would give you more surface area for playing with.

I've just bought and am waiting for mod kit to arrive because this watch takes lithium instead of alkaline batteries which won't discharge so I paid for mod because I want to turn a good watch into a fantastic watch but it's personal choice
I want to know what red colouring pen you use ?
what by chance are you using to do those sketches with?
what are you drawing on?
Does the battery last really 10 years? Or in which condition of use can last that long?

@@BraveBeaters indeed, they probably calculate in ideal conditions .. i.e. perfect battery, fully charged and with the lowest power consuming function (i.e. no backlight, etc..) ... In real world I would guess you can get somewhere between 6 to 9 years... I think temperature also affects batteries discharge rate, etc... so I guess it would also depend on where, as well as how, you wear it.. (note: even when not in use... batteries continuously discharge to atmosphere..)
the bond movie you are looking for is Octopussy and not Casino Royale despite the watch being called Casio Royale...
In octopussy Bond wore a Seiko. As for casio royale, there are fake adverts with Bond sitting on the poker table with a photoshoped worldtimer on the wrist. :)
@@BraveBeaters yes, you are correct... however, as far as I am aware, that Seiko is no longer produced and that is the watch that inspired the "Casio Royale"

can't see the very art nouveau style of the elves working with a square 70s inspired watch, could see it working with the black obsidian of orthanc or the angular architecture used by the Dwarves though

It is a rip-off, skx surely paid a lot of money to youtubers since every watch youtuber is talking about this kit.
