I never realized how much I wanted to see Godzilla, Kong, and Mothra on screen together, at the same time. I'm so glad they brought her back.
It’s a shame her screentime in GxK was so short and her interactions with Godzilla and Kong lasted for a scene. Wished for more.

@@Aymsykool well mainly because she's more like a support ally than a direct fighter, but yeah it's too bad she's limited to that role due to her physique being unsuitable for direct confrontations.

For non Godzilla fans. Whenever Mothra dies, she is reincarnated with one of the eggs she lays hidden from across the world. Her memories are passed on the new larva giving her a phoenix like life cycle where she dies and gets reborn. That's why she's alive again despite dying from Ghidorah's attack and she still knows Godzilla because her memories are intact.
That end bit is so good! Godzilla having flashbacks to Mothra’s death when Mothra returns in GxK. 😭
I know she's only on screen for like 2 minutes, but she was one of the most hype things about GxK and I'm glad she didn't die again in the same film since you can't top the emotional weight of her death to Ghidorah.
She's grace, she's beauty, she's the queen of the monsters
And she can sting like a wasp. 😎
I'm Japanese, and I think this movie is great. I'm looking forward to the sequel.

Mothra is great as queen of the monsters. She was formidable enough to fight and even defeat Godzilla throughout the Godzilla franchise while also being an ally to him multiple times. Mothra really is great!

I thank God everyday that we got Mothra back in GxK. Makers almost gonna replace her with a new Titan because of rights problem but I'm so glad they managed to get her somehow. Her presence made this film more stunning and Epic.

Hot take, Mothera was represented better in King of the Monsters than GxK
I agree, she feels more divine in kotm but my only complain is we didn't see her clearly cause of the weather effect, also she kinda sounds like a bird in GxK which is kinda peculiar tbh
