Do not discard cucumber juice, just make ice cubes and use it for your face.
or put them in sparkling water w lemon juice
I just drank it. Shit was good lmao

Yes. That's what I was thinking. 😊
I had the same thought!
Waw...guter Tipp vielen Dank
replace the lemon juice with a tablespoon of white wine vinegar, it's one of the secrets of freshness. the cucumber it's more easy if you remove the seeds there is less liquid, just a tip.
But the liqid is good with a glass of water.
Certo anche io uso aceto
No don't throw away the cucumber liquid! Use it for a refreshing drink 😊
drink on the spot!
🤢
I was thinking the same thing!
True that
Heavenly taste.. goes well with parathas too
We have something close to it in turkey, we eat it like a salad. It's pretty nice
I truly truly love the simplicity of your recipes, I almost can do it
Egal was du machst, alles schmeckt wunderbar, vielen lieben Dank ❤❤❤❤❤❤
As a Greek that loves Tzatziki, that looks amazing 🤩. I recommend adding a couple cracks of pepper in there too!
With strong garlic in it, no pepper is needed.
@@sreeladevi1780 pepper goes well yall shouldn't be scared of spices 😂
Cacık bizim lannn
That's what I came to say, needs black pepper

This Tzatziki Sauce recipe is a bang on for vegetarians and vegans alike! The creamy texture and refreshing flavor are spot on. The use of dairy-free yogurt is a fantastic alternative without sacrificing that authentic tzatziki taste.
I love your recipes and your warm energy. ❤️🌹🙏
Thank you so much for this recipe! Just tried it out tonight and it was delicious 🌟
OMGoodness! One of my favs! I put this on most things even fruit!
Looks great. Just searched for healthy dip & here it is. Can’t wait!
Im Greek also..and i agree with pepper thing..
My Greek friend said that her grandma uses vinegar instead of lemon. I use both. 😂
As a Greek I confirm this
yes white wine vinegar and some pepper. it's so simple i don't understand a discussion here. if you go to a supermarket they add things they got to get hanged for!
Great short clip.
Clearly info.& looked v appetising. Thanks.
It reminds me of something similar I ate in Iran, they mix yogurt with cucumbers and eat it mostly in summer
Repurpose the cucumber juice: add ice, lemon or lime juice, a slice of ginger (agave syrup or sugar optional) and sparkling water for a refreshing summer drink.
I'd use it on sandwich, toasts, as pasta salads, tuna tin fish + onions, on thin kati rolls, toppings for savoury cakes, crackers, chips, carrot celery sticks dip. ✌🌿💚❣️🐷
This looks so delicious....I keep the juice in mine though as it gives it a more cucumber flavor.
Made this, DELICIOUS!!! Thank You for sharing your recipe video.
Greek mom here! Add some vinegar too
Oh hell no that would ruin the yogurt flavor. Tzatziki is supposed to have a tang coming from ingredients in the fresh side. If anything it’s supposed to be lemon juice.
Of course white wine vinegar!!!!! Equal parts with best extra virgin olive oil you can find!
@@alexa3322 uhh HELL NO that’s nasty. No one ever puts vinegar into tatziki. If you do you’ll have a disgusting tatziki. It’s supposed to have fresh elements not the overpowering acidity of vinegar. THERES YOGURT ALREADY. It would be way too unbalanced. You need a fresh element of tang from lemon or even no lemon since the yogurt has enough. Also like what I said before the milk will seperate if vinegar is used. That’s absolute nonsense.
He already has the fresh lemon juice and greek yogurt is acidic enough so vinegar is unnecessary and would be overpowering🤷♀️
@@IdontKnow-oo2dp It would ruin nothing, the original recipe doesn't use lemon but white wine vinegar in same dosage as olive oil, and it gives it's characteristic fresh and soft sour flavour. Lemon juice makes tzatziki have quite a flat flavour.
That's now exactly how we make it in Greece yet it's a good recipe
horrible , simple and delicious ❤
One of my favorites... It's a perfect snack with a crunchy piece of bread 🥖🫓, i love it. ❤
I absolutely love these recipes. They’re so dang good I’m gonna try this. Thanks.
So yum
Instead of lemon put vinegar. This is the original greek recipe.it'fantastic.
not original
This is actually a Turkish appetizer, but the Greeks think it is their own food.
@@elonmusknkaypkardesi992This is fake tzatziki recipe, that's why you think it is Turkish. So, no problem, we send it to you as a gift, and we keep our authentic tzatziki. 😉
Appsolultly delicious…
Thanks for this recipe, we love it!
“BLESSINGS AWAYS”
Soo good ❤😊
You grate it the way I like. I like little chunks of cucumber. Some people dice it.
I love this with calamari
Muy delicious! Yuuuuuummmmeeeee...
Mmmmmmm yummmmmy delicious 😊thank you for sharing ❤❤❤❤❤
Just looked up your page...is slowly becoming my gastrobible....wow!
I tried this once with melon it was kind of weird but good.
We make this often at home in India. Its cucumber salad here.
20 out of 10... well done ❤❤
😊❤ yummy. Thanks
Love it love it as it is! Don’t change or add it from his original recipe please! Easy right?👍😋
I use a cheesecloth to ensure most liquid is out, and substitute lemon w cooking white wine for the acid
It is Turkish. The yoghurt is also Turkish. The word yoghurt originally "yoğurt" comes from the verb "yoğurmak" (to knead), also you can't try faking the fact cacık is Turkish by adding -i there.
I saw many vegetarian, recipes on your website I'd like to try.
Tzakini is a new to me.
and its looks so easy.
Not a fan of mint, I cant just leave it out. So have to think of a fantastic substitute.🙋
As a Greek, you can just leave it out! I have honestly not seen many recipes that do have mint!😁
@@Athena-foodie
If I leave out the mint, my brain will get stuck in a time warp and can't move ahead.🙆
Are y’all gonna put out a cookbook? I’d buy it in a heartbeat ❤
Literally made my mouth water!!
❤
It’s so delicious ❤
I love
Love you ❤ tried it do good
We in India have been eating it since centuries and we call it kheera raita
Stop it.. you sound so stupid.. and they've been eating this for centuries too..
Plus raita is quite different..it has a different flavour profile.. just look at the ingredients..
Stop it.. you sound so stupid.. and they've been eating this for centuries too..
Plus, kheera raita has a different profile becuz it doesn't use olive oil kr dill ..
Kheera raita usually has cumin powder and black salt it.. if it doesn't have black salt , it ain't no raita..
We don't care we aren't from India. That sauce is middle Eastern not Indian
@@Crissy991 person who commented is wrong we only house yogurt and cucumber add some spices we dont use lemon juice or garlic but I would definitely try this recipe
stop claiming everything indian .
New challenge unlocked. Thank you.
Yummy, again!! *need* to try this! 😍
Finally somebody said it right
Alternating few procedures and ingredients here or there, this is a middle eastern version of our Indian kheera raita.
This looks really good, which pepper would you recommend to make a spicy version 🤔?
❤❤❤❤
Nice!🎉
Yum
Looks yummylicious😊
It's very similar to raita served in India ...
Great recipe👍😋

Mmmmmm fantastic
Looks Great!!
Looks good
Fantastic Nico😅😅
Thanks, Luisa!! 🥰
Skyr yogurt, much thicker so I don’t squeeze out the cucumber juice for extra refreshing taste.
Yummiest 🥰🌹🌹🌹
