After a long winter, in the form of water, the Spring Sprite emerges from the pool to meet the Elk and he leads her out of the hidden alcove for her to get to work. Her body turns green and melts the snow away for the coming of the spring season, covering the forest in fresh foliage.
Going up a nearby mountain, though, her abilities escape her when she ascends the slope. Curious as to what is going on, she looks inside the massive crater of the mountain at a small volcanic stone. Touching the stone, it awakens the____________

First, Adiemus, like any of the tracks on the Adiemus albums, are not in any language. The 'lyrics' are made from syllables and 'words' invented by Karl Jenkins, the composer. They are specifically designed to not distract attention from the pitch and timbre of the voice - it's supposed to enable the voice to act like an instrument, nothing more or less.
Enya did not write this track. Enya has never performed or recorded 'Adiemus' and it does not appear on any of her albums. The original vocal artist is Miriam Stockley. The composer is a British composer called Karl Jenkins. The track did not appear on the Lord of the Rings soundtrack as is suggested by some.
Adiemus is originally the name of the album that Karl Jenkins wrote along the general theme of using the human voice merely as an instrument, with non-specific lyrics. He expanded this over further albums with Miriam Stockley providing the vocals for all except the fifth album, where the Finnish 'Adiemus Singers' were formed and recorded the vocals for the album.

Igor Stravinsky's Firebird Suite - 1919 Version the story of a spring Sprite and her companion Elk. After a long winter she restores the life to the forest but accidentally awakes the fiery spirit of destruction (the namesake Firebird of the piece) in a nearby volcano. The Firebird proceeds in destroying the forest and seemingly the sprite. She is restored to life however after the destruction and the forest life is reborn with her after some encouraging from the Elk. The story is considered an exercise in the theme of life-death-rebirth deities. The animation is based on the May 18th, 1980 eruption of Mt. St. Helens.[1] The final tableau is a near analogue of the view of the volcano's crater from "Windy Ridge."
