I have a Weihrauch hw100s and i can honestly say that this rifle is laser accurate, i put all 14 shots through the same hole at 30 yards with no problem, and with only a 310mm barrel i can't complain about accuracy. The build quality and engineering are superb as you would expect from Wiehrauch, it's a rifle i will never get rid of.
Have a HW100KT 2021 model with a beautiful tiger striped walnut stock like yours. It is hands down the best rifle I have ever owned. Tough, accurate, powerful, reliable and quality everywhere you look. Pound for pound the best rifle you can currently buy in my opinion.
Glad you are happy with it. Had mine also second hand for about 10 years. Doesn't really get used much but just like my bike these days but it's a prized position. Also not that I really have the need but I feel that I should treat the old girl to a buddy bottle conversion as to make a bit more interesting and custom.
Just found this video as I was wondering if others appreciate the hw100 kt as much as I do. I’m on my fourth if I count the 100s I owned. But recently I bought another as I absolutely love them and have never let me down. The last one I owned was in 22 with the green synthetic stock but I’ve decided to go for 177 as I bought an air arms s510 tactical in 177 and it changed my thoughts on continuing with 22 when 177 has a flatter trajectory and was flipping rabbits over at silly distances and that was it I’m 177 in all of my airguns apart from two which is my hw 97k blue laminate and my HW 95k. Which are in 22 My others which are a new walnut leftie pro sport which is on another level! and another hw95k and another hw97 k. Anyhow back to the hw100 kt, I traded my synthetic 22 in the new one which is in the new style walnut stock and honestly I’ve never seen an airgun ever with such beautiful grain, the stock is one you’d expect to find on a high end shotgun it’s so nice and in the shop when I saw it at Gilsans of Yorkshire who I know very well had on the advert for it beautiful stock first to see will buy and I was straight on the phone saying don’t let it go I’m on my way now! It is a thing of beauty though absolutely outstanding and even better with a rub of oil. The accuracy of these hw100 kT’s in fact all of the 100 line are spot on and I’ve never had a problem with any of mine. This one I own now in 177 is producing groups less than the size of a 5pence piece sat resting at 35 yards using Hades all day long and I have it married with the Sightmark wraith 2-16x28 and it’s a great setup. Now tonight was my first night actually using it for vermin control as a farmer had asked me to pop along to one of his buildings as he’d seen some rat droppings but I sat for two hours and didn’t see one rat but I popped the gun over into his field where there was a rabbit sat at what seemed to be a fair distance and thought there’s no chance of me hitting that at that distance but I took aim with two mil dots holdover and sent the pellet down the barrel and it struck the rabbit with a crack and it lept about a foot in the air landing stone dead. I’d hit it right dead centre between the ears and I paced it out and I paced 48 yards. Now for an old duffer like me it was one hell of a shot and again the hw100 kt brought home the bacon or in my case the rabbit which I’ll be having for my dinner tomorrow evening. These Weihrauch hw100 kt’s I believe are the best out there and worth every penny and they work and work ever time as long as we do our bit and our bit by looking after them.
I bought a KT s/h which was 6 years old owned it for another 6 years never had a problem, no leaks. Had it tuned by Ratworks, Tench regulator and lightweight cylinder fitted and it made the gun even better. I now also have a 100bp which is also a great gun. I ve owned Daystates and Steyrs and the HW is just as good as them and a good deal cheaper
I could imagine if HW redesigned this rifle by adding bigger plenum, bottle and power adjustability, that would be the ultimate airrifle ever made by human, considering that build quality and the engineering has been put to this rifle is the top notch!
A few little mods to the transfer port size would help as it's quite restricted. But I think part of the beauty of this is that.. it's not trying to be a missile launcher or rail gun...it's "just" a painfully accurate sub 12 beuaty
I've had an hw100tuning 250bar titanium cylinder fitted to mine and a pre chamber insert for the plenum on my .20 kt,increased shot count to 7.5 mags and a totally consistent 11.8 ftlbs at the muzzle.its well worth the money and it's one of my never- sell guns.
Hiya Danny :) It's really nice. Nicer than I dared hope actually. The reloading side lever is... something quite special. When you pull the trigger, the desire to feel the reload is compelling :)
I can only say that i agree on all counts, my only slight niggle is the overall weight at arms length, but you can't have some thing so well engineered and solid any lighter i suppose . 2 months later....Got to add this bit , Just taken possession of the .22 100 regulated with lighter cylinder, Ratworks tuned, i put a lighter scope on, reduced weight and point of balance considerably no more niggles lads..spot on.
You know my views on them matt.. I adore mine.. Will never part with it.. its like an extention of my arm. I like how short it is but i fitted a a-tech wave silencer which is shorter than the standard weihrauch one by an inch easy and it's as quiet if not quieter and only 35 quid or something. The loading mechanism is a work of art and had a one pellet system so you cant accidentally double load it. The safety like all weihrauch safety catches is superb and reliable, a Beautiful working tool are these guns.. a must have. And hey.. we all leak occasionally 😂
I knew you were right all along, and it was just time before one spoke to me... and this one did that. Literally , as it had a weird leak and was a chatty little thing! The accuracy is ... remarkable and it's not too fussy on pellets. At least this one isn't.

They must be quite expensive over in the US I guess. There are plenty here in the UK. In terms of power, having now taken it apart entirely to replace seals, I can see that it's not designed for enormous power. Not like an FX for example. @@mattscountry363 yes it has the Tyrolean stock and the double trigger 👍😉
Also can't double load. Won't turn mag if you try to cock before firing.😅
good point!!!!
Im from Philippines,im only had this hw100kt here in Philippines
All gun repairs far cheaper than gunsmith especially hw100 if you live Tameside near Ashton under Lyne. Shop seal change £100-£180
My mate abt £50
The superior BC of the .20 JSB 15.89 over any .177 and .22 pellets, makes this calibre the ultimate for accurate, medium power applications ...Oops, the cat is out of the bag now.
There are a couple of .20 I'd consider buying. This is one tbh, and maybe an HW77 too. But... I'm going down the 25 cal route first!
Stock looks well, mine is better now I have oiled it, have the same scope on mine.
If I wasn't oiling the H(ulk)W 80 I'd likely have started on this one.
Very pricey but I will own one in the USA 🇺🇸 market that is not limited to power.🤠
They must be quite expensive over in the US I guess. There are plenty here in the UK. In terms of power, having now taken it apart entirely to replace seals, I can see that it's not designed for enormous power. Not like an FX for example. The air route through the transfer port isn't huge. But our sub 12ft lb limit suits it well, and I think they're happy enough up to about 20 ftlb
That is a very old rifle. Many upgrades have happened since that gun was new.
If you can help me age/date it that would be superb. How old do you think it is? I have no idea
Easily the best on the market except the weight ha
To be fair Gav.. they are a tad heavy .. I agree. But it's the engineering I guess :) Thanks for popping over to see the vid.
@@mattscountry363 not a prob love these kind of vids
I’ve a Leshiy 2, a FX and an air arms but my HW 100 out performs them all and looks better in my opinion as well.
They really are spot on!!!
