  • Repairing the suspension on a Honda TRX350!
So one of my customers brought in an ATV for me to fix up. He said the guy he got it from crashed it & it was in need of some repair...
In Part 1 we start removing components to see what needs to be replaced.
I remove the tire, tie rod, upper & lower a-arms (control arms) & also the spindle (Knuckle).
Initial signs of damage are clear & I establish a list of parts that will need to be ordered. This allows me to inform my customer of an approximate price that he'll be paying for this repair.
In Part 2 we'll order up some parts, install some new components & also fix the brakes that were also damaged in the process!

No, but go to www.partzilla.com and enter your info, you'll get a parts diagram.

Looks like a lot of damage, how is the driver? You would think they flew right over the handlebars!

Just an FYI, there are alternatives to OEM parts. While I agree that in most cases, it is best to go oem for quality, in some cases, a better part can be had for less money than OEM. Case in point with the weak stock tie rods. You can buy beafier aftermarket rods and ends for less than one new one! For example:
