Dude. That 30K 500 is practically immaculate. That the convertible top cranked down was amazing. You picked an absolute WINNER with this vehicle. Some cleanup, some detailing, tires, brake master cylinder, complete fluid change, and you're GOLDEN.
Thanks, Chris. All TH-camrs need to take a few pages out of your playbook on how to film and edit videos. Absolutely amazing work. The predator bird checking out the drone was icing on the cake. Perfection my man.
My older brother bought one of these from an estate sale way back in the 80s. They are quite the luxury land yacht. I got to drive it a few times. My impressions were nautical... You needed a harbor pilot's license to drive it and it drank gas like a sailor drinks rum. In the video, you can actually watch the fuel drop in the bottle lol. Pretty good buy at your price. It's intact enough to be a good candidate for restoration.
"Old oil never goes bad"! That was my grandfather's belief back in the 60's when he changed the oil in his Ford 8N. He never changed the oil in his car, truck, or tractor, only the filters. He'd add refined oil as needed. I don't think you can get that anymore, can you? Great video! My wife can never remember the name of my videos, she just says, Let's see what Gus is up to, or what is Duff Dog doing? She knows the videos by their dogs!
Heard from a farmer said he recycled oil first in the farm truck then the tractor and finally in the windmill as at that point it's nearly 90 weight oil again
@@docshreck4 She's up on him as well. For a man who didn't want a dog, Theo just walked into his shop and into his heart like he owned it. I get a kick out of Sleeperdude's goats and pigs. Andrew Camarata's dogs, Levi, Cody and Blue, are sweethearts as well.

Thanks for the update. The Eldo brought back great memories for me. In the late 70's my high school job was washing cars at the local Cadillac dealership. These Cadillac's had one weakness, they really wore front-end parts. The parts were really expensive at the time. You really needed to go with Moog parts or you would be doing it over again. Ask me how I know! Lol. They really loved the freeway. This is one I would put back on the road and would enjoy it! Probably fix it a little at a time. I hope you find someone that will really show it some love. It deserves it .
