panasonic nvhs950ec tape wont start or eject

100% FIXED 🛠 (2019)
Works 100% now 📼 It took a few years finding someone capable of fixing it 👀 The issue was more problematic than I realised (a broken part that is difficult to find nowadays). I'll update with some details later (I need to get started with Last Of Us Part II 😋).

Cleaned everything I can think of, with denaturated Ethanol (93%), cotton sticks (e.g. erase head, audio/control head stack, video heads (only chamois / printer paper for cleaning those), mode switch (which was the most tricky part regarding re-alignment, as this resulted in fault codes F03, F04, F06).
In any case, I am back at square one with the F05 fault (tape ejects only when turning the VCR on again).
I would appreciate any input, feedback and assistance on this matter, thanks in advance! :)
NOTE: I did not use any grease for the roller guides (I don't have any at the moment), only machine oil (for a pneumatic drill), but I don't think they are the issue here (but who knows, maybe they actually are!).

Clean the rotor encoder switch. Replace all belts. Clean video and audio heads. Clean or replace all rubber rollers.

f05 error means loading motor does not move.You need to disassemble loading motor and replace the capling in the loading motor.

i have a portable video panasonic NV 100 power on but the STOP button is always on and any other button works, can you give me any advice or a solution please???

I have the same machine, out of storage, it was never previously used. It's eat a tape and the tape is stuck around a roller, the part at 1min 15 seconds on this video where the piece rises up, this one won't and got the tape stuck down there without it rising there is no way to get the take out, it's between a plastic feed, trapped, I guess that also comes up. Anybody any ideas?

I picked up a problem from that on a VCR that the defect was cold solder on the point connector on the board, look for that type of fault that you could solve the problem.
I'm with another device here that appears the fault F04, the tape hangs in the box and does not come out, I have to force the mechanics to eject, I already tried for grease on everything and so far nothing, I disassembled the bottom of the whole mechanic and went back and the problem continues, have any tips?

A relative had a problem with is vcr [same mechanism] and it was something to do with the fact that the belts might need changing

can be a cleaning of head of reading in replacement belt in any case look at the problem by marking the model of your reader cassette and the problem that you have you information

why don't you disassemble the mecha to see if some of the plastic parts are broken? If nothing requires replacement then put the mecha back together according to assembly/installation instructions provided in the service manual for this model. Once done, check the operations again and if the loading sequence still doesn't commence AND you are absolutely sure you've done everything by the book and all the parts have been aligned correctly, then you can safely scratch mecha from the list of possible sources of failure and concentrate on the electronics.
