No skills or brain used. That brass cylinder has 1 or 2 torx nuts inside. All you had to do was unscrew them. But you used a hammer instead. What skills ??
@@technologywins me too. 1st time for me last week, and I managed to dismantle a sized one, and fix it without smashing it. Time and patience and perseverance.
The VCR head had more complications and craftsmanship than the whole Tesla, proud to be from the VCR (80’s) era.

It can be gently disassembled without needing a hammer.
A good cleaning with a self-cleaning can and the lubricant too
There is an allen set screw dummy holding that brass ring.
this was a painful watch. If I can see the grubscrew, then so can he, oh wait he's now bashing it out with a hammer.... and a... drill bit...
