To fill in the missing reason for ADC shifting to mid at 14 minutes, it's because the support then also gets to go to mid. If adc stays bot then the support is stuck bot helping them farm safely, not able to impact the map as much. Being mid lets them get where they need to be on the map faster, and if they left their adc in botlane alone to do so that would be very punishable. With plates being gone on this timer, it's even more important for the support to have as much access to the map as possible, to attack/defend towers with the team.

Supports can go mid and leave ADC to solo sideline in midgame, this happens a lot especially if you play with control mage midlaners who are vulnerable in a sideline themselves! The main reason as you somewhat side is that the wave arrival times become staggered between mid and side allowing wave to wave macro. Generally ADC champs are some of the longest ranged and best at getting mid prio (mid being the most important lane to have priority in you can use wave to wave macro into 2 lanes, instead of into old one when starting in a sidelane!)

Bc I main adc (and im B1) and I always beg my mid laner to get sidelane but my veigar refuses to move from mid and we end up sharing farm/exp and then nothing gets done bc it starts the ARAM effect while sidelane is free and wide open. It’s a conundrum bc if I go bot again to farm I get flamed for not being at the inevitable fight but when I’m sitting in fighting for peanuts there never is an actual fight it’s just aggressive posturing usually.

I mean for soloq we have not much coordination outside the basics but in a premade flex x5/tournaments/clash sometimes I wonder if I should really send anivia bot lane against lets say, kassadin, instead of keeping her mid and keep ad side? is this viable? I'm aware that depending on the ADC champion pick itself can influence this like vayne/kaisa can side lane okay vs lots of champs, but kog can't. This dips into draft which is another issue (It's important to have at least 1 playable side-lane matchup as far as I know). I notice that a lot of times that I play niche mages mid like anivia,veigar or some weird ap varus shit idk my team suffers from lack of side lane power even though our draft/teamfighting/scaling is definitely better in the long run. Sometimes I'm fed but need to lane against ekko/fizz suddenly this long lane is terrible for me to leverage my advantage, while my adc sits in mid not doing much especially if they lost lane earlier against lets say caitlyn who will outpush and outpressure at mid. Also if top loses you can get into a situation that you have no pressure in either side . I observed that this usually spells doom by making my team bleed farm and keeps my control mage with a stiff build, stuck with components unable to reach 2-3 item spike cuz can't generate lane pressure enough to farm safely and rotate to impact the map and the game. Not sure if this is a lane assignment problem (like can fix by sending mage mid sometimes, like my hypotesis) , or a draft (picking weak side lane immobile mage vs sylas is a bad idea especially if you picked losing top) problem or a skill issue though lol just don't lose top, or don't lose bot so you can have pressure in at least 1 lane. for context, i'm low masters AD main but trying to improve my midlane impact , especially after 14min mark. Amazing video and Amazing channel ,as a midlaner i was completely blind auto-piloting games especially that i play an aggressive play-style in mid-lane with champs like irelia /akali ignite etc ,timers stops you from going over the line and die to a jungler in a play where you thought you are about to win.
one important timer you forgot from T1 fans. minute 20. baron spawns. and if they are off-guard you can rush it, or you can force fight by baiting and accelerate the game faster if your team is ahead already, or if you are behind, can sneak it if possible and gain advantage from behind.
That doesn't work as well since Baron buff. Baron will chunk someone to half HP before the fight and you'll lose it if you don't have a larger wallet. In fact, depending on your comp, it can be difficult just to take baron uncontested at 20 because of how much damage it does.
Can you make a video about how to have positive impact in games where your opponent picks a lane neutralizer like malza or gragras and your champ isn't a turbo roamer?
every game is decided by mid game by who uses their tempo where macro especially sync with jg and supp have the most impact on the game through this synergy so pay attention to jg and sup mid game

I don't think it felt midlane focused at all, in the exact same time I gave a jungle example that took up just as much time as the Ahri one HAHAH I try to cover more broad terms that are useful for everyone as to not alienate part of my audience, but I do occasionally make videos that are for some moments a little bit role specific, but I try to still keep it broad :)

The amount of focus you need to play this game is ridiculous. What should I do if I normally get a kill around 3:20 give or take 15 seconds? If the death timer is very low, do I stay and hard push the wave or just back right away ( leaving wave in a bad spot) so I can try to be there in the 3:30 fight in river? I normally hard push ( or die to the jg) and my jg is left fighting for their life in the river alone.
The only time my games last more than 35 minutes is when one person is very strong and he can solo stal the game and give their team multiple chances to win i was a cho gath with 20 stacks and 11k hp holding the game till 50minutes because they had no ap damage and we got lucky one fight won and ended.
