I love this. My kind of riding. Little traffic. Fresh air. No one around. Just smelling the smells feeling the temp changes in the elevation and greenery. Listening to a sabre purring along. Amazing how such a simple machine can bring such happiness. No crazy tech or comforts. No electronics or gadgets. It really is a level of therapy unmatched by almost anything. As close as you can get to flying without leaving the ground.
This is what I love about my 2004 Sabre. I am fortunate to live in an area that has roads and scenery comparable to this. I enjoy going through them quietly and not filling the tranquil air with unnecessary noise. I am there to enjoy the view, not possibly ruin it for someone else.
Great video, beautiful ride, just quiet and not talking the whole time. Love it, very meditative. I have the same bike, same color and what I could briefly see, even the same tank bib. Great bikes.
Right now, my 2004 Sabre is grounded with electrical issues. Getting it worked on this week, but this video is helping my temporary non-riding life. Thanks.
39:55. Scary moment…. Is this like after a Zombie apocalypse… where is everyone at? You had this route all to yourself with the exception of the white van…probably filled with the Zombies…. Excellent run

I couldn't have said it better. My happy place

I love the shadow 1100's. Possibly one of the greatest bikes made

@@smokymountainrides Just got the bike back last week; trying to make up for some lost riding time! Stay safe out there.

Haha, that's funny. It's quite like a zombie apocalypse! The roads almost always dead. Thanks for watching!
For some people it's the apocalypse for me it's heaven 😅 it's full of green trees and plants, just not people and concrete 😊 Greetings from Germany
@@JulianWarnke_ I lived in Germany for 5 years, never wanted to leave. (81-86) Sadly Uncle Sam had different ideas for me...
