The way the West maybe thinking is not to send to much where it gets destroyed on the ground, cause that will just cost more $. So that could be there strategy as well. It's so hard to tell. They will all need a pit stop to be refurbished before being sent on their way. Even though Russia is a rail country, there are not that many lines and with varying traffic load and competing needs (and even fewer lines into Ukraine). This leads to bottlenecks at several logistical nodes with only staggered and infrequent deliveries to the different areas of the front lines. In addition, due to long range strikes by the Ukrainian, staging areas are located further and further from the front lines.
During WW2 the Canadians developed an armoured troop carrier called the Kangaroo using the hulls of redundant tanks. They basically took off the turret and modified the inside to carry 8 soldiers or so I wonder if this is what the Russians plan for the T62s that were recently seen on rail transport in Russia? Especially if they are running out of APC and IFV

As a career military whatever I was..I had many different MOS’s over 21 years..from S-2..(security) to Army Scout , Platoon Sergeant, Batallion Ammo NCO, to USArmy rifle team….Vietnam, Thailand, Germany and Korea..with a buddy in the Air Force in charge of the White House Switchboard..which I thought was cool, except every time the President went somewhere, Gary and his team left about 3 or 4 days early to set up secure communications..under 3 different Presidents..a lot of people are Monday morning quarterbacks..and that is probably how it will always be..someone who thinks they know more than the professionals on the ground..but when you have been there and done that..all this other stuff is just noise..

Could the erratic use/loss of tanks due to variability in procurement and logistics also be affected by shortages followed by gluts of petrol & diesel ?
A lot of refineries and storage facilities went boom, they've resorted to importing those fuels AND are even putting up the prices domestically !

Actually because being reminded of trumps view on the war and the path my country is going down causes me existential dread. I just cannot keep watching them because it makes me so depressed. I support you making the videos, but if you see a drop in viewership on those videos, that could be the reason, or at least it is my reason.

But with all of the MAGA fools that keep raising their voice to disparage the US, NATO and Ukraine, there are equal if not more strong voices that are rallying to the cause of freedom here in the US. The MAGA crowd is the loudest and are carrying momentum in the press right now, but the tide will change.

As a career military whatever I was..I had many different MOS’s over 21 years..from S-2..(security) to Army Scout , Platoon Sergeant, Batallion Ammo NCO, to USArmy rifle team….Vietnam, Thailand, Germany and Korea..with a buddy in the Air Force in charge of the White House Switchboard..which I thought was cool, except every time the President went somewhere, Gary and his team left about 3 or 4 days early to set up secure communications..under 3 different Presidents..a lot of people are Monday morning quarterbacks..and that is probably how it will always be..someone who thinks they know more than the professionals on the ground..but when you have been there and done that..all this other stuff is just noise..
