  • “Ukraine will be able to hold their own plain for the future and make it impossible for the Russians to squeeze Ukraine into a political crisis.”
The US and UK’s aid package to Ukraine will cause a “disaster” for Putin as it will provide long-range missiles and ammunition to strike the Russians, explains Michael Clarke.

    • @formes2388

@@iansaliba-curtis1041No. The US has not gone mad. The US has a high national debt, it has minimal local manufacturing, it has maximum dependency on foreign attained manufacturing + resources, but beyond this - it has high internal divide driven by ideological stand points; one is nationalistic - the other is globalist, and that is what is playing out in the US political sphere right now.
If you look around, you will see that same thing playing out in many nations - and it's creating massive divides, and what is driving it is how open primarily left wing parties have been to immigrants, to a point that it is breaking nations: and the citizens of those nations are tired of it, growing more fed up with it, and you are seeing a rise of racist views, as well as nationalistic outlooks. And as problems grow - you are going to see more Nationalistic governments take over.
Oh, and Nationalism is not the only thing that is going to play into this. The entire left wing driven woke movement has created it's own boundless amounts of internal hostility - just most of it has been contained, and restricted in where it was spoken out with, but - slowly but surely, everyone has gotten so desensitized to the attacks, that it is starting to emerge very blatantly.
The short of this: There is a LOT going on, that is all playing into this - and if your answer is to jump to blaming the US, you should be looking at your own nation.

The problem with giving Ron Johnson air time is that he doesn’t know what he is talking about: US taxpayer spent this money decades ago when the weapons that are being sent to Ukraine were built. The US taxpayer will continue to pay for secure storage of these weapons and munitions until they are either given/sold to a cause like Ukraine or they are dumped. It’s not that current US taxpayers can’t afford to give them; its that it makes no economic sense to keep then when allies (people whose interests are aligned with the US’s) could use them to advance shared interests.
So many Americans don’t understand that the US can’t exist without a global mindset. Even when someone in a country on the other side of the world hacks their identity or bank account, with the connivance of that country’s government.
How did so many people become so ignorant so quickly? People like Ron Johnson were given air time.

It has never fallen below 3%. Wealthy European countries barely spent 1%, and yet American taxpayers paid for their defense? The defense of the FIRST World, not the third world. Europe owes us reparations if you ask me. They have better healthcare than us. I believe they have better infrastructure, more high speed rail? I wouldn't know, I'm too poor to visit. I believe Europeans are more able to travel the world than Americans. All thanks to the peace they have enjoyed off the backs of harder working American taxpayers.

It also costs a lot more to shoot down a cheap drone than to replace that drone. We are finding out that Iran backed a winning horse in the 80's by investing in cheap drone technology. This is that without sufficient munitions and machines both offensive and defensive Ukraine has had to dig deeper within their rather substantial capabilities to fight and survive (I doubt even Americans could match one for one the fierce Ukrainians in a contest!). Now with a considerable supply of munitions Ukraine will use them with greater efficiency and deadlier effect. Add to this, that Ukrainian's European neighbors have been stepping up to their responsibilities to link arms together with Ukraine, to fight this scourge within their own region!

Well how would we know who's the better friend really? I dunno but the past decade have really not been exceptional as far as NATO, EU, US or even the "liberal world order" goes. I'm no real fan of Russia, China or Iran etc. however it's way more then just a good or evil scenario at play here but if that were the case, we are very often the bad guys... and to be entirely frank, if we had the same kind of advantage over these "evil nations" as we do in Africa etc. we would just simply exploit them to no end... so if i was living in any of their countries i would probably also desire a though and more independent government ready to stand up against "the west" and it's imperialistic endeavors.

If you think France having anti-American Attitudes is strange: Lets just say, France had made arrangements to buy O&G from Iraq in Euro's rather than in USD. The US failing to negotiate that away, found an excuse to go to war - and terminated that arrangement by gun point, and France holds a grudge. The amount of money France has sunk into it's intelligence apparatus to shut out the US is absolutely ludicrous.
The truth is, France and Germany both have reason to be unhappy with the US. If they can figure out how to develop without ties to the USD, they will - and part of that, is understanding the importance of China right now, as well as automation, and advanced technology, but to get there - France and Germany need to strengthen their own local economies, AI development, and Militaries. As much as you might not realize it, but the war in Ukraine has been a huge justification for European countries, long having let their military languish, receive renewed focus to develop it, grow it, and that is mildly terrifying.
With China flooding the market with cheap items - maybe, the view will shift on China, but pretty much the entire west has a debt problem - and it's crippling the cost of living, it's crippling job income value, it's crippling the birth rate.

It seems that Polish President Duda's visit with Trump might well have affected his Ukraine position. Trump is an admirer of Duda who years earlier had proposed naming a Polish base "Fort Trump". Now that the Americans have committed, the Germans will now follow.(As they have since the beginning of the invasion). France is currently engaged in thwarting Russian ambitions in Africa and see the Ukrainian front as their their best opportunity. The Allies seem to be coalescing behind Ukraine.Americans thank the UK,the Baltic and Nordic countries,Poland,Czechia, the Netherlands, other Eastern EU countries that have helped keep Ukraine supplied until the US sorted out it's rather uniquely bizarre political issues.👍👍👏

GEN Syrskyi is NOT a legacy Soviet maneuver leader like GEN Zaluzhny. GEN Syrskyi was born in Russia and trained as a Soviet Commander. Nevertheless, GEN Syrskyi spent much time in Ukrainian Military Command acting as a NATO liaison. He seems far more NATO influenced in head military philosophy. It was GEN Syrskyi who actually Commanded Units defending Kviv in 2022. It was GEN Syrskyi who also Command Units which liberated Kupiansk, Izium, and Lyman in the Ukrainian Kharkiv Offensive. These were good signs of NATO schemes of maneuver being executed.
GEN Syrskyi took over Military Command just prior to the fall of Ukrainian defenses in Avdiivka. GEN Zaluzhny did not leave GEN Syrskyi with a robust Avdiivka defense plan. This forced GEN Syrskyi to use a NATO scheme of inserting a fresh battle hardened Unit into an immediate difficult fight so that another mauled Unit could be retrograded and salvaged to as great a degree as possible. This was achieved at Avdiivka by GEN Syrskyi.
Additionally, GEN Syrskyi used another NATO scheme called a fighting retreat as rear defensive lines were hastily constructed. This Operational Level strategy was executed in a series of Tactical Level maneuvers and bought time to build 2 Defense Lines. So far it has only failed at part of 1 point where a Russian breach succeeded.
NATO allies of Ukraine are stepping up in terms of Industrial Level war support. However, Ukraine’s current biggest weakness is self made: a manpower shortage. Ukraine needs to recruit about 150,000 troops per year. They need 10,000 to 15,000 per month or 35,000 to 40,000 per quarter. All these troops need NATO quality Basic Training and AIT (equipment/specialty) training outside Ukraine in NATO countries. This 2 part training takes 4 to 8 months depending on AIT. Next is 3 months in Germany to train as Companies and then Battalions. Those troops AIT for Battalion Staff support need all 3 months in a Battalion TOC, battle planning and also monitoring Company Level training as if they were monitoring a battlefield operation.
Finally, Battalions will be inserted into Ukraine in low risk areas along the Polish, Slovakian, Hungarian, Moldavian, Romanian, and Belarus borders. For 3 months they will practice Brigade Level maneuvers including moving to new locations. Then it’s 3 months along the Russian border from Kviv to Kharkiv. Finally, it’s up to 18 months on an active frontline with daily challenges. This is how 36 months of mobilization will look like to a good military training program.
No trained troops will be demobilized until after the war. KIA and WIA beyond return to battle, are the only troops removed from the register. After 36 months, all fit troops will be reassigned to National Guard Units near their homes and families. They will drill monthly and train annually as a Unit. They can be Activated for service at anytime for up to an additional 18 months. All time served will count towards retirement points and preferred employment points in government jobs. This is in addition to any medical or disability benefits earned.
