Filipinos don't pack their own groceries, not because they're lazy, but because if they do, the packers who were employed in that position will lose their jobs. Hi, you mentioned before in one of your videos regarding Condo rental that after 1 year it’s hard to get back you 2 months advance and 1 month security deposit? How do you deal to make sure you get back your 3 months worth of rent amount? Would appreciate your response.
Depends on who you give your deposit to. I rented my condo through an agency that were based inside the condo building and paid my monthly rent directly to them in cash. You just need to find an agency/owner you feel you can trust. Personal recommendation is a good start. Which area are you considering?
The Philippines do give Seniors priority everywhere. From separate counters in Shops, Banks, Jollibee etc., Just don't expect good walkways, pavements if yr in a wheelchair.
If you stay at any hotel and there is TP there, take the roll when you leave. You paid for that. Bring a roll of parachute cord, about 10 clothes pins and some small hangers with you in your bag. This way, you can always something to hang your clothes or towels on. Just a small amount of stuff like that makes all of the difference.
I love to travel but one thing it’s go vacations and stay forever in a 3rd world. I stayed few months and try. But the difference it’s to far away from the first world. It’s good for experience and explore the culture that’s it. Why you want to go low grade in life style? . Even you have money that not means you are accessible to the things you like. Some people only look the outside the beaches the fun. But when you stayed for a while you hit the wall to reality
No place is perfect on this earth. You just have to determine what you can tolerate and be happy. I have been to the PI many times and the good outweighs the bad.
You have to go to the Philippines with zero expectations. Just like your a child at Disneyland. Just go with the flow… do not compare yourself with your country. Just tell yourself there is no such thing as time. Like your on vacation. I’m usually spend a lot of time at the beach. Cause I’m a beach bum.😊

China officers a Permanant Stay Visa, which is relatively low in cost. Philippines has SSRV Retirement Visa which REQUIRES ($10,000) to be put in the hands of Philippines banks, where they can revoke on a mere whim.... That is $10,000 down the drain (risk). China offers far more for Retires with a Pension. Philippines Very Restrictive Rules says "my way or the highway". Keep in mind that the golden highway of Retirees Money ($$$$$$$$) rejected by Philippines, speeds on past the Philippines and lands in the Economy of China! Thank you China. That is smart business indeed. This money can be used to expand China's economy and influence in the world. Smart China!!!

The Filipinos use their horns to let other drivers know that they are entering the road body (so to speak)...they are not using them in anger as in the West. Think of it as a sensory device (Cuya, I am entering the the traffic flow so please don't hit me). At first I drew the same conclusion that you did Uncle...
Vehicles will also flash their headlights which in my country means "come on then, I'll let you enter the road." But here it means "get out my frigging way!"
The horn blasting continuously is also done in anger and impatience. It's ridiculous the amount of needless noise pollution there is on the roads, to say nothing of the air pollution from trucks and jeepney spewing clouds of black smoke.
@@BiggWorldCinema There's one city in Sumatra where I traveled to that I was amazed they never use any honks at all, and not even following the traffic lite color 😂 We were so scared in our little Tuktuk so we asked the driver why there's no honking?? Turned out the people in that particular area are known to hold centuries long grudges for any small displeasure, so it's best not to anger anyone by honking as they will take it really personally 😅 We laughed at the explaination but we learned just to be really respectful to the people so they don't get angry at us 😅😆
With everyone continuously using their car horns, do each of those horn blasts cause anyone to pay more attention to other cars than if everyone just made certain they have to proceed with extreme caution to avoid being hit by another car. In freeway driving in the Southern California, USA, area, people rarely use their horns, yet they travel at 55 to 65 miles per hour and change lanes while avoiding any physical contact between vehicles. No horns, no accidents. Indeed, any horn blowing is considered extremely rude. And people travel those roads everyday. Go figure.🤔

He thinks they are lazy because they don't pack their groceries and clean their tables after eating in the restaurant, when in fact there is a person who was hired to do that job. He said he lived in the country for 3 years, and yet he hasn't figured out that if the people do those things, many Filipinos will lose their jobs. With the country's limited job opportunities, poverty will just worsen if those jobs are not available. And he even complains about the Filipinos' love for music; he still doesn't know that it is part of the culture. Filipinos are happy and lively people because of music. I guess he is just ignorant or arrogant that he wanted to be in the Philippines but to experience the same culture or way of life as his country. 😂😂😂
He's a Brit and therefore he can't help it. It's in his genes to be miserable, grump and moan about everything. I live in the UK and everyone's at it here. It's truly depressing and dispiriting, same as the awful weather. This is a joyless country to live in unless you are rich and can get out frequently to escape the negativism and gloom.
People are lovely but not so much the weather. The weather is hard and extremely hot 24 hours AC will make you sick. Philippines is good for visiting two months a year 28 to 30 Celsius but after that 40 up Celsius extremely hot. Second worst thing the burning of garbage each neighbor burn plastic, cardboard aluminum grass etc smoke all over inside your house in the province specially. Canada is a paradise compared to Philippines even with winter. It is easy to go through winter instead of cooking in hot weather…
Reklamo ng reklamo wala naman nagsabi pumunta kayo dito mag aasawa kayo ng mga bata filipina gagawin nyo lang caregiver nyo katapat lang nun libre bahay at pagkain free na lahat pati sex
Brits are always moaning. It's a national pastime. Part of the culture. And it's contagious so everyone's at it. It's rare there to hear someone being upbeat and optimistic. I think it starts with the awful weather and that sets the tone for everything else. It's hard to have a positive mental attitude and smile when you're being rained on every day and freezing your ass off in a cold, damp, grey 6-month winter. Turn on the national news and you'll be depressed for the rest of the day. Turn it on the next day and you'll continue to be depressed 😄
Another annoying thing is the complete ignorance of knowledge of anything outside their daily lives. They say they go to schools but how can they go to school without learning anything about anything? History, geography, basic mathematics, science, art, biology, natural knowledge, social knowledge and much more, it dont exists for this people.
Very likely the schools there are not teaching them much of anything beyond what they need to survive there. US education is heading in that direction as well. As the years pass the education in the US has been getting worse.
This was stupid. The englishman, from his dialect I think he is english should try to live in UK. Everything he complains about is so much worse in the UK. Philippines may have some problems, something we foreigners are not entirely happy about because it does not comply with our likes, but still....Pilippines is a great country to live in.

High pitched muscle cars with jokes for mufflers at 2 am burning up rubber. The homelessness problem has become so severe here that many major stores are closing due to rampant theft....defund the police...you say what? Thugs breaking into cars at stop lights with people in the cars. You protest? We can pistol whip you or do you prefer being shot dead? Road rage abounds and people will do the craziest manuevers to show their displeasure. My wife were driving on Market Street in downtown SF couple months ago. Less than 2 car lengths ahead of us a man dropped his pants and defecated right in front of us. A squad car drove by while he was doing it and showed no interest in this dog like mannerism. No toilet paper...no problem....broad daylight...So, I'm not sure which country is 3rd world anymore.

But I believe they are working on it soon they are repiping the water system as they are building water dam reservoir hopefully it gets done sooner. When it comes to product supply that may take awhile to improve because the need for a product one at a time is not feasible, not sustainable they the merchandisers can not accommodate everyone's need simply because not everyone needs a particular product at the same time unlike here in the states merchant has to stock pile all varieties of products at once because the demand must be met by the supply or vice versa, supply must meet the demand that's all however the locals learn to get by without the product immediacy they learn to put it another time Philippines will teach the meaning of patience hahaha, it is quite annoying when you walk into a store and you need immediate attention while the clerk takes a spin around her seat looking for something while you feel being ignored lol, oh man I can see now you would be boiling in heat hahaha but brace yourself take a deep long breath woooosssaaaahhhh lmao. @@abc-mf4jnSpot on. We can see that insecure ego everywhere in the Philippines. Filo males (certainly not "men") have nothing in their shorts and act like cowards. No wonder why they feel the need to brag about every little things they have and all the cute little accomplishments they did.
@@BiggWorldCinema I was looking into close to Ayala Center like the Alcoves, Park Point or Solinea.
Shopping lines for old disabled people ? How do they get treated ? Heard lines at the bank for seniors are seperate ? Please advise.
The Philippines do give Seniors priority everywhere. From separate counters in Shops, Banks, Jollibee etc., Just don't expect good walkways, pavements if yr in a wheelchair.
Nice vlogg again Philip.

But when you stayed for a while you hit the wall to reality
love the humor. but the wisdom is invaluable. Many thx !!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for your kind words.
Why do u people stay there? Complaining constantly! Get out!!
English people are famous next level complainers. Here in Australia we call them whingeing poms.
It's true. Brits are always moaning. If you spend any time in the UK it will gradually wear you down and you'll find yourself copying everyone else and doing the same. I agree with this. It's getting to be a huge pain in the rear just to find certain items in the store. Outdated price tags not much better.
What you have a culture shock its really like this here its diff from the western world if foreign countries wants to stay here for long you have to adopt diff aspect that are unknown to you and if happen that foreigner cannot abide or adopt then not stay im kinda sensitive for foreign complaining accept or regret

The reason why there are packers at the checkout packing your goodies is because what ELSE is he gonna be paid for? Remember the thousands of employees at that mini-market?
Maybe some of those packers could be useful by verifying that the shelf sticker price matches the correct price of the specific item where the sticker price is. Ya' think that might be something useful that they could do? Or maybe replenish empty shelves with more of the appropriate goods.Just a thought.
I got sick of the place. A good friend was murdered (by a Brit), and I was held up by 5 guys with guns on a bus to Manila a week later. It was either get a gun, or leave.
I live Thailand now, guns can be a problem, just don't get road rage, and you should be alright.
Hahahaha, I was smoking in front of my a tall building on Taft Ave in manila I found on airbnb all weekend. Then Monday, new security manager didn't like that, sent officer, who I had seen before pissing on side of building, to tell me I can't. So, I took one step into the street and said, "What you gonna do now, bitch?"

I can honestly say most of your concerns I’ve not had 85% of your concerns, I live in subic bay freeport. But it’s the bureaucracy which is the headache..I have my food delivered and most of the time the very same time. Brownouts are rare in subic…it’s one of the best places for infrastructure in the phil’s…better than Manila for brownouts ..potable water etc. It also helps have a partner that’s organised ..ie a Filipina that’s not a province girl ..that’s used to some of the silly rules here. I will premise I don’t live on a tight budget so don’t experience the lower end…that may be part of the problems. GLTA.
I was in Baguio with my gf waiting for a taxi along with many others. A group shows up to the area and takes the next taxi that stops, ignoring all the others who had been waiting before them. "hey!", I yelled. "Don't you see all of us who have been waiting here before you arrived? Wait your turn!" My gf explained to me that what I had done was considered rude. But the people who Bogarted the taxi? Perfectly acceptale, I guess.
That is the bloody difference between 1st world and developing world. The education and attitude. The infrastruture.
i'm in the first world. yet you have all these people believing conspiracies and think that the world is flat. we have great education, yet the students that arrive from the philippines or other asian places, they're smarter than the regular student. Attitude definitely with the "i'm better than you are" "look at my car" and then they look down on others. "How dare you speak to me" While walking the streets, people don't smile cause if you do some people will think there's something wrong with you. Got excellent infrastructure, nice roads, highways etc but they can't drive sh*t. they don't shoulder check, they don't even know what to do when someone cuts them off.
Yes there are pros and cons in 1st world and developing world. but just cause you're in the 1st world doesn't make you better.

@@BiggWorldCinema He means going to live in another country and then make YT videos moaning about it, and small stuff.
Go figure.🤔
LOL, omg you are awesome, you hit the nail on the head,,,,,i mean, this was so right on,,,,,brillant, true and so funny, and if you dont laugh, you will cry,,,,,, because, it indeed happens,,,, so sad tho that they, filipinos just dont care,,,,,,, keep up the great vlogs,,,, thank you
You should remain in the Philippines. Perhaps the pleasant, sunny disposition of the Filipino will rub off on you. You're a little grumpy sir.
Hahaha, he's complaining about why Filipinos prefer to stay in the car and stock up on traffic rather than walk in 40°C weather.
10 reasons??? Kinda sounded like 150 reasons!!!!
It was getting late. I thought I'd better end there!
There are earthquakes in the Philippines that is very scary experience .

I understand the teacher's salaries just far to small.
So true. Their general knowledge is shockingly lacking.
This was stupid. The englishman, from his dialect I think he is english should try to live in UK. Everything he complains about is so much worse in the UK. Philippines may have some problems, something we foreigners are not entirely happy about because it does not comply with our likes, but still....Pilippines is a great country to live in.
The Englishman lived in England for 58 years. Yes, "Pilippines is a great country to live in." As the Englishman actually said if you paid proper attention.

Well, each country, society, and culture has negative factions of some sort, whether it be financial, thievery, cultural prejudice, social unrest, persecution, etc., etc., etc. Christians believe each of us has a shot of attaining everlasting salvation in God's Heaven, assuming each one can follow the appropriate procedures for qualifying for it. Of course, no one today seems to have an inside contact to verify all that, so it all hinges on hope and faith.
