It astounds me the lengths people go to avoid eating clean and doing some moderate exercise. The drugs don't work. Throw out all the garbage in your house, eat whole foods, and lift some heavy shit. It ain't complicated.
People are so busy trying to add this and that to their lives. Simplicity is the key to all aspects of life including health and wellness. Simple work out routines. Foods with simple ingredients that you can pronounce and understand.
Prioritizing sleep has been life changing! My lifts are getting better, making better food choices & better mood. After having 3 kids, my sleep was so messed up. Up every 2 hours, then when my husband deploys I’m up every hour checking my phone for a call. Taking magnesium & ditching the sleep aid, I’m now sleeping 8hrs & not waking up!

I’ve been listening to them recently. I’m learning so much and appreciate the way they explain things. I’m a mom 44yo and was dealing with inflammation and Morton’s neuroma at 42, 43…. It’s all gone after I started strength training. Strength training has become a way of life now. I don’t mind getting wrinkles and gray hair but I don’t want to be in my 60s and be out of shape. I also got sals book I can’t wait to read it!

I’ve tracked my diet, weight and workouts for years and will “note” things that stand out, and nights that my sleep stinks consistently results in weight gain the next day! It almost feels like my body feels the need to hold onto everything (water, food) because it’s under so much stress and intuitively knows it needs it all to get through the day. But get good, solid sleep the next night and bam, back to normal.
When Sal asked what else you could do with that $200 I thought for sure he was going to talk about Butcher Box. Getting clean, whole foods had made so much more of a difference to me than all the supplements I've ever tried.
Watched almost every episode for a year. Finally decided to use the discount and getting anabolic. Progress so far:starting at 45kg (ED), now at 70and really strong. Was thinking abour maps 15 or this, both are probably a great fit. Really like focus sessions and will go and do some sauna and yoga in the restdays 🙂 Really helpful to learn to avoid hard cardio, doing easy walks and rehabilitation focus in order to get strong and healty!
I tried the not freak out when my girls threw up, I messed up with my first one but my second one I stayed chill. The second one freaked out cuz she watched the first one. They both are better now and go to the trash can, thank goodness 😂 but man the throw up and no warning, I totally get that!
Can totally relate to the sleep! My two year old is walking into our room and then I take him to bed and go back to bed and just as I start to fall asleep, he’s back! My workout the next day is so much harder!! 😅
By the way I read It is not the best to suggest feeding bread to ducks. Feeding ducks bread is bad because the food has little nutritional value and can harm ducklings' growth, pollute waterways and attract rodents and other pests.
I've never tried a "fat burner" supplement, but I understand why people are attracted to them. 🔥 You guys are right that there are many more effective ways to burn fat! 💙

Noob question, been lifting for a year. In the gym 6 days= chests/shoulders on Sun and Thursdays, then arms on monday and fridays, and legs/abs on tuesday and Fridays. Wednesday off. Is it wrong to do body squats, jumping jacks and push-ups every morning. Could I be hindering growth doing the every morning workout.

I have a question. I am interested in competitive swimming (masters) and strength training. How can I modify a program so I can train hard enough to get stronger and also swim hard or kinda hard every day? Is this possible?
Maps Performance Advance is a great workout program for serious athletes, it has workout selections so you can specify whether you build power, speed, rotation, or grip.
I believe in thermogenics. Effectiveness depends whats in it. But i think the core of it is caffine for energy/metabolism speeds up, appetite supressant, and water pill. These things will help you burn fat simply because its like a preworkout essentially. Truth is the sedentary person would get a boost from this. You cant just take it and expect to burn weight, but yes it does help you to workout or through a workout if you arent already a disciplined finltness person already. Again, best if taken as a preworkout. The stuff i used to take (Animal Cuts) gave me good mental clarity too, kept me calm, supress my anxieties haha, etc. This one i kinda took it as a morning coffee and fasted all day on it with one meal a day im the evening. But back then i used to take gnc's mens ripped packets, usually as a preworkout. I made a lot of progress, weight loss and gains. It was probably not optimal of course, and likely just pure over stimulated - overtraining and beginner gains, but hey everytime i was lathargic, lazy, tired, or not motivated these got me me to move.
I'm not sure why people try and over complicate health. Good diet/nutrition and exercise. That's it, that's the big secret. Pills, powders, fat burning blah blah blah is all just noise.
