Also, speaking of quartz, it actually gave me an idea for a thread in a modern fantasy setting. When Mandy brought up moonbathing some time after the quartz mining story, I got the idea of "what if the kids brought the quartz home to their older sisters, who knew how to empower them due to Wiccan rituals being trendy with them?", which led to a setting where kids are able to perform feats of magic by drawing off of charged quartz.

amazon review for inflatable shark: Great Inflatable toy. However I have heard that the shark can prove very flammable when placed near Bunsen burners and strangely air ducts. I also used this as a prop in my cosplay of the manalorian David Avery. It has never let me down and does what is described on the box and much more.

We had the fire department coming out to our dorm at least once every semester. Guys on our floor would be playing frisbee or something in the hallways, and inevitably they would accidentally hit the fire alarm, which meant every time we had to evacuate and the fire department had to show up. Very rarely would the guy who hit the alarm by accident get punished, so it just kept happening whenever they got too rowdy. Needless to say, the fire department didn't like us very much; I think they were actually glad the one time we had a real fire.
Long story short; completely sober Christian boys/young men are just as capable of being stupid as drunk agnostics/aethiests are, and the local FPD knew it all too well.
This season I am just as excited for the ad reads at the start of each podcast as I am for the actual podcast.
Like I am actually concerned about how invested I am in the continuing story-line of the ad reads this season.
Not very relevant, but writing on Mandalor's a book is in uncanny valley for Russian speaker. Obviously it's translated from "How to fix your truck". Techincally correct, but no one speaks that way. This is very it's word "исправить" is equivalent to fix, but it isn't prevalent, because it's not quick universal 3 letter word that you can replace word "repair" with. So we're use word "починить" or "отремонтировать" in more official cases. Word "исправить" is more commonly used with errors, than with something broken. Also I don't often come across to word "Ваш" which means yours in this context. Russian sentences are already long because of words, so we're not compelled to put even more for cadence

Apparently the toilet blockage also happened to my sister. Think she went to a public store bathroom and the toilet was clogged, or one her friends worked there. Think she eventually used a pair of butter knives to slice it to flush.
In the same vein as Mandy's story, my brother had a friend who as a kid was apparently having so much damn fun in the front yard that he didn't want to go inside to poop. Later his dad came in shouting "Who shit in the front yard?" to which he tried to pass off on some passerby dog. His dad wasn't buying it and said "This is clearly a human sized shit."
Which also reminds me that my brother is disgusting and wanted to take a dump in the same friends cat litterbox, which would be disgusting and hilarious. Never did though. Might've taken a dump in the top toilet tank though.

To be fair with avery's friend. Even in a shit box car, going fast is fun. One day driving down the New Zealand equivalent of an interstate, a crappy subaru forrester and an audi tt start pulling up behind me obviously annoyed that im going the speed limit. Me realizing this, seeing we're basically in the middle of nowhere between to cities starts speeding up slowly to see what their comfortable speed is. Well this escelates quite quickly and now where going 180 kph (110 mph) at the absolute top speed of my shit box holden and that shit was fun. This was a few years ago and since then ive become smarter and only race on a track.
Not only this, but as we come closer to a town we start slowing down and suddenly a cop is in oncoming and all 3 of us are doing a solid 120-130 not nearly as bad as what we were going at but could easily be an immediate suspension of liscence. Yet by dome miracle of god, this cop has literally 0 fucks when he sees 3 cars clearly nosing down due to hard breaking well over 100 metres from the speed limit sign

Ed and the story in general about the cheese almost killed me. Jesus. Like on it own it isn't that funny but the amount of detail and basically trying to express in simple words of the emotions during the process got me good. Like while the food wasn't worth the money to Ed the money for the entertainment is amazing and I would literally drop a few bucks just to see it in person if I could.
