  • A former escort who claims to have gone a date with Rex Heuermann in 2015 says the man who is accused of killing six women was "trying to act like he didn't live it." They went to a restaurant where she says he was extremely interested in talking about the Gilgo Beach killings. Attorney John Ray also weighs in.

Well the problem is that there’s probably hundreds of people in the NYC area that give such tips and the police can’t do anything with that. That’s obviously not enough for any kind of warrant so what can they do? Follow all these people around that were supposedly “odd”? That would take hundreds of officers. The key to cracking the case was the DNA from the hairs they found and using that to get warrants, look into his phones, and match his DNA to the hairs. All this other stuff is just outside noise that would distract them

@@SueP-jg9vx She said he was specifically talking about the Gilgo beach murders as if he was remembering. She may have turned in a tip. I don't know. But, it is important for sex workers to turn these tips in even if it only goes into an investigative file. It may lead to something later.

I struggled with heroin addiction for 12 years before I finally got clean and now that I’ve been clean for a few years i can look back and see what an absolute slave I was to the drug. It impacted my decision making skills immensely. So I can see why his victims ignored their instincts because that addiction said “hey, you’ve been through sketchy situations before. This is a huge payout at the end of this. Just risk it, everything will be okay… *and the worst one* YOU EFFING NEED TO FEED ME TO SURVIVE 💉” 😔. I know because I told myself all those same things when I was in active addiction(although I wasn’t a sex worker, I was involved in other illegal things ie drug stuff).

RH is rare by even serial killer standards. Seemed to study Serial Killers to an extent that he may have tried different MOs as means of exploration. He could end up being one of the most prolific of our time.

I said this exact thing to my boss yesterday! He studied serial killers to copycat their M.Os, especially Bitroff, and he studied John Douglas to fine tune his “craft” even more. I believe the body count is going to be astronomical! I think he left some sloppiness along the way in his early attacks, hence the “how-to” document.
He’s an egotistical braggart as evidenced in his community interview where he brags about using a hammer to make things happen (whatever his terminology was). Somebody should tell him to come clean and get the “props” he deserves from his peers, and put these young women to rest across the country.
I know people think Asa had something to do with it, I don’t. Even if she were involved in threesomes, it doesn’t make her a killer or even a conspirator to such things. Also, it is starting to seem like his killings spanned more than one relationship, and more female hairs were found that were not victim hairs, nor Asa or her daughter. Didn’t one hair belong to a FORMER female resident of that property who briefly lived with him BEFORE he married Asa?
I have wondered at times if “Peaches” wasn’t a former sex worker and came to him with a baby, saying it was his, and he killed them both. And I can just imagine this CRETIN picking up what he THOUGHT was an Asian GIRL, only to find out his Daisy had a “stem” and killed him right away.
I can’t wait for it ALL to come out! I am so glad this MONSTER is locked up!!

    • @CoolHandLukeDuke
      @CoolHandLukeDuke หลายเดือนก่อน +6

@@sassynfree884 - I feel like the multiple MOs might have also been an attempt to give the impression that there were multiple killers operating in the area. With Peaches, sadly a lot of sex workers do bring their children on their dates, especially small children who have no understanding of what's going on. Sitter cancels and you can't afford to cancel, especially if that's your only means of providing or you are also supporting an addiction, so it's bring your child to work day. Investigators absolutely need to appeal to RH's ego. I believe they could get a full confession if they had someone like John Douglas approach him. I want to know if he was also responsible for the Atlantic City prostitute murders...The Eastbound Strangler, as the killer is known. The hammer... "My father's Cabinetmaker's hammer..it's very persuasive." My money is on that hammer being crucial in both the prop building and the torture.

Like you, I don’t see him as “rare” at all for a serial killer, especially when his career and travels are taken into account. He’s an architect. I’m pretty sure they have different means of approaching a task than say, a barista or barber. His notes didn’t surprise me at all, and it’s too bad if he doesn’t come clean about ALL of it. If found guilty in NY, NYers are gonna keep this OGRE alive for maybe 30 years, and if he left a trail of destruction in ANY “DP” state, unless NY changes their ways, he will NOT be extradited to any DP state.
      Bet? 🤝

Also all the people that come and tell him stories, that he goes public with, haven’t had their stories verified…there’s nothing to back these stories up and the police wouldn’t go public with such things because it’s sloppy. Undoubtedly, this guy is the worst of psychopaths. As per literature, psychopaths possess innate abnormalities regardless of their environments, which is the difference between the psychopath and the sociopath. Hollman (2020) explains the differences between the pathological narcissist, the sociopath and the psychopath. “The main difference between the narcissist and the sociopath or psychopath is that the narcissist may experience or learn to experience some remorse and eventually some empathy for actions that hurt others and his maltreatment is verbal not physically aggressive or violent” (Hollman, 2020). Contrary to the narcissist, sociopaths and psychopaths cannot experience remorse and may be violent. But psychopaths are worse than sociopaths. She highlights the following points about psychopaths:
    1. They possess all the characteristics of the sociopath and the narcissist (NPD).
    2. They have no regard for right and wrong and thus violate the law and the rights of others.
    3. Cannot experience remorse and are extremely violent remaining calm and cold during crimes and after. Brain pathology is found in research studies that reveal abnormalities such as less volume in the area of the brain called the amygdala where fear is processed, empathy is generated, and emotional regulation takes place and in the orbital frontal cortex where decision making occurs.
    4. Due to these brain abnormalities, psychopaths don’t process punishment in the same way as normal people. Thus, they are not inclined to respond to punitive behavior by parents or others in authority. That is, punishment does not discourage immoral or violent behavior.
    5. Have differences in specific regions of the brain such as fewer connections between the ventromedial prefrontal cortex where feelings of empathy and guilt are processed. It is also found that there are abnormalities in the amygdala where fear and anxiety are mediated.
    6. They verbalize without emotion. Even when describing their crimes and basic human needs (food, water, money) they are incapable of feeling and expressing normal human emotions.
    7. Evidence supports the affirmation that psychopaths commit more crimes.
    8. There is no cure for psychopathy.

So I guess I don't mind the random "I knew him" interviews. She isn't part of his trial... so it isn't much going to matter if she met Rex or made it up for a few bucks.
I think he probably did meet escorts just for $ex and fantasy play though. His wife has cancer. She's had cancer for many years. She often traveled without him. I suspect they led very separate lives for years... between that and his dark fetishes... he definitely could have hired escorts, taken them out for a meal, and decided "case by case" who fit his type to take back and kill. I won't be surprised if we learn that a few got away over the years and never went to the cops. Escorts aren't believed. Cops generally don't care. So he roped them in on his favourite subject. I say them because, perhaps that wasn't his first conversation with a possible victim. Only this one got away.
And the girl re the body guard who took her to that boss of his, and the fear in the poor girls voice running. He knows more... She wasn't running and stripping as she fled.
