Also interesting that a man just meeting Heuermann recognized how physically strong he is. This is something that Heuermann was in control of and he made sure Amira knew about it.

Heuermann's business was finding ways a builder can guide their hugely expensive project past the various codes into the building stage. In that world, he was a star. In that respect, he sounded like anyone else in a similar position in the New York building world-they're not a humble lot. The fact that in his leisure hours his hobby was serial torture, murder, and body disposal is a separate issue altogether.
Maybe the energy was off in that room and the interviewer tried to cover it with laughing a bit too much. I do that too when I feel a person in front of me is unapproachable.

Heuermann talked about himself because he was the subject of the interview and was being asked questions- doh. I did not saw anything out of the ordinary in this interview coming out of the oral expressions, behavior, demeanor and even nonverbals of Rex Heuermann. Entrepreneurs can be much more narcissistic than what I saw there from the suspected serial killer.
