The bizarre dances of birds-of-paradise aren't mere flights of fancy. Young males inherit those dance steps from their fathers, then refine them through practice and watching adults. Less obvious but equally important are the watchful females-look for them in these video clips. It's ultimately their choices that decide which dances reach the next generation. The Cornell Lab's Ed Scholes explains:
Filmed and photographed by Tim Laman.

I wondered about whether the dance moves were learned or inherited (turns out it's both), but I never expected to see the young birds practicing with each other! That is so cute!

Pretty cool! :) I find it particularly interesting that the wacky and funny motions don't seem as much so if I park myself at at the bar on a Friday night with some Jameson and watch the dance floor. Research like this can not only teach us about the world around us, but also give us some perspective into our own species.

Does those young males change to black once they are fully mature?
It not only practice but the black color combination makes the perfect dance.

Look at the creation of the creator
They always like to look at the sky from time to time, learn to roll their eyes, and there are swallows who take the initiative to build a nest outside the house of one of my friend’s starlings.
I just said to it like this: Look at those baby swallows over there who can’t fly now, they will call you godfather in the future _ godfather~ godfather! I have time to fly to visit you again today! ! .
Then the starling responded to me every time:嘰嘰 嘰嘰嘰嘰嘰嘰、鵝鵝鵝鵝。

Why can't you not "only" do a dokumentation about birds. Why is it not possible to see a complete dance? Why you ask the obvious? Why you can't let the birds talking? Why you can't let the birds showing. Who is interested in your questions which all can be answered with one word: EVOLUTION ?

everything in the universe is created by the one and only God. and the most perfect creature of god is the human. the art will justify his Artist forever and ever. this is not a product of an random explosion. (ps: excuse me for my poor english.)

"Sexual selection by female choice".......my, my, if only humans were that disciplined haha......well I guess a few of them get it right. It sure would curb some undesirable male behaviors.
