The first two and the last segments of the countdown were narrated by wildlife filmmaker Gordon Buchanan. He also filmed the wild alone and up close in series such as "Polar Bear Family and Me", "Wolf Family and Me", "Gorilla Family and Me"

Afterwards, they wait for traffic to stop and fly down to munch the nut meat before the light goes green again. We have become their primitive tools!

Maybe the most weird behavior in this video of of humans taking a dead burrow bird, putting a robot inside it, replacing the eye with a camera, and placing it near a burrow with tons of fake blue jewelry around it, all to trick a bird trying to do their mating ritual.

"Dolphins and birds team up..." would be accurate if the birds were contributing something to the interaction, but they don't. So it would be more accurate to say "Birds eat dolphin's leftovers"

That Hank shows another level of thinking by not eating the bread but instead, using it to catch fish which have more nutrition. Reminds me of that famous experiment where they told kids they can eat a candy or wait and get two candies. Hank would have waited, and embarrassing enough to say, some human kids failed and couldn't resist eating the first candy ie unlike Hank, they ate the bread and couldn't get the fish lol

      Koi: "Yummy bread!"
Hank: "You already ate you overgrown goldfish oaf! Save some for the little fish."
      Koi: "Oh, bum."
      Little fish: "Thank you, bird!"
      Hank: >:)

Enjoyed the segment about the Florida Scrub-jay (Aphelocoma coerulescens).
We've learned a great deal more about them since that segment was filmed, too.
One example is that for many years, it was assumed that individual birds never flew greater than a 5-mile radius from the location where they hatched out.
But, that assumption was debunked when a Florida Scrub-jay leg-banded in a St. Lucie County ecological preserve later flew 12.5 miles south to a state park. There, it remained for nearly a year until it returned north again, but to a different county preserve. The return trip was closer to 13 miles.
Family groups remain together all year long. But we've since learned that the territories they protect and maintain may differ significantly between the breeding season and non-breeding season.
Fascinating birds, especially the egrets strand feeling with dolohins in South Carolina, too.
    Wonderful 👍
