    Nice video! Can you talk about the included pads? Are they any good? The „wool“ you used for final polishing isn’t too aggressive?

    • @LakesideAutobody

      The wool works well. Matter of fact, that's all we used in shops in the 80's. 1 wool pad on a big ol' buffer. All the pads are of normal quality that you would get with any buffer today. You get quite a few actually - all you'll need for quite a while and easily replaceable. This was better quality than I expected by a long shot 😊

    I didn't even know you could get mini polishers that could be easily switched back and forth from rotary to orbital like that. The price even seems pretty good for what you get.
    That probably would have been nice to have when I was blending paint on a somewhat skinny windshield pillar.
    Cool tool Jerry

      Thanks for checking it out Bruce. It is a really cool buffer - was pleasantly surprised myself on how versatile is is/was :)

    I like the smaller size. I find mine too big for getting in tight spots. So could you do a whole vehicle on one charge ?
    Gread demo as always Jerry

      If you were just polishing or waxing, absolutely. If you wet sanded first, you would have to recharge - haven't done a large area with it yet though. Very versatile buffer for detail work though and built well :)

    Hi, please could you say if this tool has 'hook loop' attachment capability on any of the polishing discs (for net abrasives) or if not, whether it will accept fittings from other products which will allow for that ? (can't seem to find this info anywhere in their product description / marketing stuff) - 👍Thanks.

    • @LakesideAutobody

      Not sure exactly what you are asking but the hook and loop works with any type of "hook and loop" sanding discs and buffing pads :)

    Did you have any issues with the carger or battery getting hot when charging? The plug in battery chargers make me hesitant. Do you know if the batteries are interchangeable with flex 12v. They have a 20v da thats can use 18v flex batteries?

    • @LakesideAutobody

      The batteries charged fine - not a lot of heat. I'm not sure about the interchangeability of the batteries and products though :)

    Looks like a decent copy of the flex pxe 80, im wandering if the attachments will fit the flex 😂

      It's all about skill and technique I used many diff polishers some people are fooled by the feel of the machine I know a detailer who uses a porter cable and other guys be like what polisher u use he said a pc dude was those are garbage but how u get the cars looking so amazing he replied it's not the machine it's skills and ur products which goes over many detailers head he the top detailer in the city who doesn't use overrated name brand tools

    This is a brilliant pxe80 replica - only thing i can suggest is bin the pads - get some SPTA 1.5 inch & use your normal 3 inch pads

    I recently purchased one of the polishers you recommended, but I've yet to actually use it for its intended purpose. Straight out of the box, the noise it produced was shockingly loud, akin to the sounds of an ancient tractor, which was starkly different from the much quieter operation depicted in your video. Additionally, I was a bit disappointed to find that the polishing head seemed disproportionately small for use on an SUV, contrary to what I had anticipated.

    • @LakesideAutobody

      If it is loud, I'd send it back - this one is pretty quiet. If purchased through AMAZON - they're pretty good about that stuff :)

    Have you heard of a product called Fibral Lite?
    Is it better then Bondo glass? Thoughts.

    • @LakesideAutobody

      I haven't, but all fillers and fiberglass reinforced fillers are very similar and after using many different brands of each, In my opinion one doesn't somehow trump another. They hold up just the same - even if it says "metal" or "titanium" - 😊

    • @PBAB17

      @@LakesideAutobody Apparently this product spreads like a short strand filler and has the strength of a long strand filler. I don't know I just ran across it myself.

    How do you put the backing pad on the attachments have got this stupid role pin in the center.

    • @LakesideAutobody

      They don't want you using certain pads on certain attachments. If it don't fit, they don't what you doing that :)

    Arnt you pushing way too hard? This machine is strong and by the looks it is stalling due to excessive force? I mean, the pad has allmost disapeared in some of the shots.

    • @LakesideAutobody

      That's the correct pressure. If you ever rubbed anything out by hand, you know you need quite a bit of pressure. Of course you can always use less pressure if you want - just takes longer 👍😊
