I'd be really interested in a list like this on floodgates. One in particular, actually, called Dimension Fortress Weapon which seemed like it'd be a neat tech vs Ishizu Tear
I've been messing around when I'm bored at work trying to build some kind of earth spam gadget list that turbos out dimension fortress weapon and earth barrier statue, it's not good or anything, but it feels like every third hand can just outright beat ishizu tear if they're not playing droplet or dark ruler exactly
The big takeaways from this: There aren't a lot of spell/trap negations going around right now, but mass destruction requires a graveyard lock to stick. Bounces and Banishes are big, and effects that force an opponent to remove their monsters are the way to go right now. Backrow hate and stealing monsters will always be relevant, just be careful of floating effects. Tributing off things is great, but boards are too spammy for Kaijus right now.
I think that Kaijus are really cool in decks that can utilise them for their level or type. I play them with Beetroopers because I can search them and there are insect kaijus.
I think part of it is Mystic Mine warping the format so that tearlaments HAS to make a board that can't be outed with a singular Mystic Mine. I wonder what boards people would be making if people didn't have to build their decks around that card
I'm finding Kaijus and Slumber pretty great in Kashtira right now because you're giving yourself lv7s. Kaiju their Elf, Summon Unicorn and a Lv7 Kaiju, swing over Toad and Djinn, Unicorn banishes a card from Extra deck. MP2 Unicorn search Birth, make Diablosis and rip another card (op should have no copies of Elf left). Then Birth reborn Unicorn and normal summon another Kashtira without tribute and plus again.
I've been experiencing with a adventure scareclaw deck with a small synchro package using Illegal knight, but I've also found illegal knight to be a GREAT reoccurring board breaking Interruption once you have fateful adventure set up. How do you feel about illegal knight?
opinions on book of eclipse? the use of it being that you can use it when chaining your tears to flip the whole board but you can still fuse with your face-downs. it doesnt stop people using effects when you activate it, but it forced them to use all of their effects at once or negate it.
I play alpha as a one off in madolche (mostly as a small world bridge). Could even be a 3 off if you're going second. Of course it's questionable if you play it over fenrir, the main issue with fenrir is that the timing is hard. You can't really use it proactively unless you go to bp, and if that's what you're doing it's just worse evenly. It's much better going first of course, but with Tearlament it's often difficult to hit the right target because they can just shuffle away targets before you get a chance to banish if it's your turn. Against floo it's also tricky to hit the right thing, hitting the small birds does relatively little, but hitting the big birds isn't great either because they could bring out avian first. Hitting map is OK if they used their regular normal first, I suppose.
Personally, I like dark hole as it outs the Ido lock in the funniest way possible. As ido has a certain mandatory effect which summons it back when it's destroyed by card effect.... To its owner's field... Ye... Won me a match on db cuz my opponent just quit after that.
Opponent goes first, Bystials drop a monster on opponents turn. Say they don't clear your bystial. Your turn, fenrir cannot be SS because there's a monster on your side of the field so it becomes a dead card.

The Charmers are in the Extra Deck and not in the Main Deck. That gives them 3 really important upsides : - you can access them whenever you need them - you can't brick on them - they're more efficient in ressources as they don't come from your hand

that seems like a really strong floo-targeted alternative to fenrir and pankratops. really like that it pops and then runs over another one. only issue is it doesn't get rid of dreaming town or the trap, so might conflict with something like evenly matched

I think fenrir and bystials are very problematic for the game going forward. I think there should be limits du Magnamut and Fenrir but first ishizu Tear needs to be adressed. How ever I really dont think mystic mine should be banned atm because it supports niche strategies, also i think a lot of cards can come off the bannlist, because of the power creep..What is your opinion on these cards/topics

Side note 2 numbers 12,14, 20, 21, 23, 24 are a little too much and aren’t necessary. 1. You can’t use face down cards for fusion or ritual Summons only for Tribute summons 2. 1 Normal summon and 1 set or 2 sets (or 2 normal Summons) (Or or 1 set, 1 normal summon, 1 tribute Summon) 3. Normal Summoning in face-up defense position 4. Remove missing timing 5. Tokens can be use as xyz Material 6. Increase the Extra and side Decks to 20 Cards 7. Link monsters can be used as synchro material but count as level 0 ofc 8. Ritual monsters that say “YOU CAN ritual summon this card” can also be Special or Normal summoned like regular monsters. Only Rituals that say “MUST BE” must be ritual summoned. 9. when a monster attacks another monster that has higher DEF points it’s destroyed after damage calc. 10. any combination of cards with mutual links can be used to have control of a monster in both mid field Extra Monster Zones. Instead of just the U lock 11. Monsters in the Mid field Extra monster Zones can be used by either player for The summons of Fusion, Ritual, Synchro, XYZ, Link and tributes for tribute Summons. Let's say there's 3 strong extra deck monsters on the field. 1 of them can Stop Spells, You use the kaiju to get rid of that 1 card and then the rest crumble. As long as you play it correctly it is Very good at getting rid of the strongest cards in the game. It gets rid of Flor, Dragoon, Avarmax, it gets rid of anything in your way. Yes, it's only 1 card but that's all you need sometimes. He put RAIGEKI Above Kaiju??? Do you know how many cards can easily Negate Raigeki? Almost nothing can negate Kaiju. Their strongest card just goes into the grave. I also run NecroValley so i blow up the field then All of their shit is now locked in the Grave. Just 1 example.
@@shadowmarez7457 Ishizu Tear is like 70% of the meta right now and the remaining is spright and flundereez which kaijus still arent enough. Consider that golem and sphere mode are TWO or THREE kaijus and theyre still not game ending.
@@OsirusHandle The Meta is shaped around the Meta, which means, all these other decks are trying to Become the Meta instead of Beating the Meta. 1 Turn is all you need, 1 Kaiju to stop their strongest monster, Then you can Raigeki or LightningStorm to get rid of the Rest, 2 Cards to wipe the entire board, I run Gren Maju and i have been beating ishizu, not easily but i've been beating it by negating everything they have and blowing up the entire board. Then atack for 10+ ATK , Can other decks blow up a field, and attack for 8000+ ATK with only 4 cards? no . It takes Very specific cards to make it happen but the current meta isn't much. Sprights take too much set up and Floowandereeze need a normal summon to go off.

Tear uses cryme or perlerino to out mine, its very simple for them.
This but it's EVERY combo deck. The power creep in favor of combo decks was necessary for them to have a chance to stop Mystic Mine from activating.
Cryme, Ishizu shuffles to use field spell pop and main decking heartbeats. Tears were having no problems with mine. everyone else was.

they are alright against Tear in general but not if everyone is using Cryme

You can also dodge Impermance and Veiler on Reinoheart/Kitkallos with it, not that many people are playing those cards right now though.

Kaiju and ancient warriors work pretty well with the decks ability to consistently bounce them back to your hand

Do not know if a going second card but what do you think of Monster Reborn and why no one is playing it event though charmers are a thing

What about something not as traditional, like de-fusion?
Ok, so what about siding Loyal Guan Yun for the Floo Matchup? Forces the field spell/trap before BP so you can move into BP with your normal.

17. Monsters in main monster zones can only attack monsters in the main monster zones across in same columns as themselves and can’t attack directly. Monsters in the EMZ can attack directly when opponents board is empty ofc and monsters in the opponent’s main monster zones
18. Link monsters Arrow can be used to climb up or down the field creating EMZones on your opponent’s field or your own S/T zones
19. Both And/or Link arrows just let the link monster attack the zones it points to along with monsters in the same Column
20. While In the EMZ or main monster zones Pendulum monsters can attack S/T cards/ cards in the S/T zones in the same column as itself. (No damage is delt)
Or pendulums can only attack an opponent’s Cards in the S/T zones while its been summon to the opponent’s field (in your control) bc the arrow a link monster points to an opponent’s main monsters zones
21. You can start duels with any number of Pendulum’s monsters face-up on top of the extra deck for you to Pend summon but they take up space in your extra Deck

Let's say there's 3 strong extra deck monsters on the field.
1 of them can Stop Spells,
You use the kaiju to get rid of that 1 card and then the rest crumble.
As long as you play it correctly it is Very good at getting rid of the strongest cards in the game.
It gets rid of Flor, Dragoon, Avarmax, it gets rid of anything in your way.
Yes, it's only 1 card but that's all you need sometimes.

Almost nothing can negate Kaiju.
Their strongest card just goes into the grave.
I also run NecroValley so i blow up the field then All of their shit is now locked in the Grave. Just 1 example.
@@shadowmarez7457 Ishizu Tear is like 70% of the meta right now and the remaining is spright and flundereez which kaijus still arent enough.
Consider that golem and sphere mode are TWO or THREE kaijus and theyre still not game ending.

1 Turn is all you need,
1 Kaiju to stop their strongest monster, Then you can Raigeki or LightningStorm to get rid of the Rest, 2 Cards to wipe the entire board, I run Gren Maju and i have been beating ishizu, not easily but i've been beating it by negating everything they have and blowing up the entire board.
Then atack for 10+ ATK ,
Can other decks blow up a field, and attack for 8000+ ATK with only 4 cards? no .
It takes Very specific cards to make it happen but the current meta isn't much.
Sprights take too much set up and Floowandereeze need a normal summon to go off.
@@shadowmarez7457 Why 1 kaiju and 1 raigeki instead of double raigeki, and so on. you might not draw them in multiples, you will often only draw 1, and if you can only beat ishizu when drawing a 4 card combo, well...
