Around 50 lakhs students are doing BSc in India (see AISHE Report by Ministry of education). So if you are thinking that you will get hired by a company by doing BSc you are daydreaming. If you think you will get a government job just by doing BSc the competition is intense there. So grow a skill and get hired by company. The BSc syllabus of physics, chemistry, maths and others have become out of sync with reality and have no application in the real world. I wasted three years of my college learning theories which had no application in real life. So grow a skill, ASAP.
Update - I got a job as PGT Chemistry in a private school but the pay is very low. But at least you don't have to bother what will you eat tomorrow.

Govt. Job is a service to the Nation. Still it provides handsome salary coming out of taxpayers pockets. Those who join Govt. sector and complain have not tasted the bitterness of private sector. I was graduated in 2020.
Then I started a Camping Startup and was bound to shut because of covid,
I prepared for Computer Instructor (Rajasthan Government Education Department) post and gave it's exam recently and scoring near expected cutoff (but not sure about that).
Now I'm confused wether I should carry my Career in IT industry or should join Government job... (I'll be getting salary around 18k for 2 years in Computer Instructor and after 2 years 50k...)
I think IT have much more growth and opportunities but high workload and more struggle as well..
