- With 200 miles of the Colorado Trail under our feet, we set off on our next challenge, Collegiate West. After nearly a week of rain left us soggy and sad, we learned the true meaning of tramily - those who stick with you in good and bad.

it is nice to see the changes in nature, from high mountains to the forest
The bluebonnets and drone shots of the trees from above!
All the high mountain vistas. That is what is so extra special about the CT to me.
Setting up camp. What size backpack do you use?
the yellow bus . . . or the one where you guys are hiking up and the clouds are to your left and clear ridgetop is to your right. it was pretty spectacular and is the spirit of the colorado trail. that was a great capture.

Alex....please consider doing longer videos on these tremendous trips. I think of how much effort was put into what you did......I would watch for hours, because it's beautiful and because we are interested in you. people can bow out if they get bored.....you deservie more

Thats okay! Everyone has a hike that is right for them - and you can actually day hike many of these areas if you are willing to drive out to the trailheads! Hope you get out there one day :)
i did the ct in 2022, too. it was so wet. so, so wet. reminded me of the appalachian trail in that regard. i saw that you guys experienced hail as well. fun times. i got a burrito from that yellow bus in twin lakes! so many of your shots remind me of being on the trail.

I've segment hiked the CT (only 9 segments so far and not in order) and it is a dream to do it as a thru. I'm loving every minute of this video series! I'm about 20 years older than you so I can't put in the big miles, but I'm OK with a sauntering pace (the way John Muir said).
