•Camera: iPhone 13 Pro
•Drone: DJI mini 3 pro
•Editing App: VN
•Tripod: JOBY Gorillapod 1K Stand with Ulanzi ST-02S Aluminum Phone Tripod Mount
I often hang the tripod on top of the end of my trekking poles to get a higher landscape view.
I’ve used the B4UFLY app to know where the drone was permitted ✅ or restricted 🚫

I am sooooooo excited I found you. Peaceful, beautiful scenery and plenty of ASMR. Just the sounds of nature 👏👏👏👍👍👍
Yes no music track has been added to let the beauty and sounds of the trail speak for itself, didn’t think it could be heard as ASMR, glad to hear that.
Wow 😮epic views! Gorgeous scenery! Thanks for sharing.
@@annettefrench-bearden5193 Absolutely! The Colorado Trail never fails to impress…such breathtaking scenery around every corner. Thanks for watching.
You are so observant Rudy 😊
(Oh and the trail is so defined. You can’t get lost!)
Thank you I appreciate it! You’re right, the CT is extremely well marked, if you get lost it's by choice 😜
Top of cottonwood pass at 6:04 mark. I snowmobile this area all the way to monarch pass. Nice vid!
I tried snowmobile once in a flat place with no views, I can't even imagine what it must be like in that area when it's full of snow, must be just epic!
@@Ratatrail its Stunning! You can go anywhere your heart desires in the winter. No trails to abide to!
So it must be a snowmobile paradise 🏔️
As usual great editing and drone shots, the Colorado is really a stunning hiking paradise!
Thank you.
Indeed it is! A privilege to have had the chance to hike this beautiful hike and be able to share it.
Magnifiques prises de vue avec ton Drône ainsi que tes photos macro de fleurs et d'insectes. Super de belle trail. Merci pour ton partage. xx
Un grand merci Diane, la nature sauvage du Colorado est impressionnante à explorer!
Awesome video. I recognized a couple spots for sure. I camped at the bench you were laying on my last night on trail in 2021. Not on the bench, lol. 2021 I went from Waterton to Breck. I started the same day I flew in from Ohio on that first stretch. 2022 Breck to Twin Lakes, but I acclimated in Breck for 2 days before starting and had no issues with the altitude to Twin Lakes. This year I plan on starting at Twin Lakes and doing the Collegiate West. I hope its not too much for me. Is it much more difficult on Collegiate West than that second stretch I did from Breck to Twin Lakes? I still plan on getting there a few days early to acclimate. Have any thoughts or advice for me? Or anyone that reads this comment have any advice? Thanks
The collegiate west section was not the most difficult, we remained high in elevation, my only advice is to start it when the weather is good, because it is very exposed….visually incredible you’re gonna love it! 🤠
Wait...did you really shoot this all on an iPhone? Wow. Great editing too!
Thanks Dylan! Yes, the iphone 13 pro gives good video recording, but will never come close to a real dslr unfortunately, I use it because it’s versatile, water and dust resistant, really light and for editing I use VN app, the final result is satisfying.
Do you use a tripod? If so, do you have a tripod you'd recommend? I'm struggling finding a light but decent one for my trips.
@@karmahavok yes i use the JOBY Gorillapod 1K Stand, good quality and lightweight, I often hang it on top of the end of my trekking poles to get a higher landscape view. With the Ulanzi ST-02S Aluminum Phone Tripod Mount, a bit heavier than a plastic mount but has never broken, no more plastic…and they’re both on sell on Amazon
So sick! How long did the whole trail take?
Thanks Gully! Gorgeous trail!
It took us 29 days with around 2 zeroes and some neroes 🤠
I DIDNT RIP MY PANTS ON THE BIKE THIS TIME 🎉🎉🎉😎
Hahahha I was waiting for something to happen but alas absolutely nothing out of the ordinary happened 😜
Seul devant l’immensité…super…
Tu as trouver le mot qui définie exactement cet endroit magnifique.
