When you gainstage as u mix and balance the drums. Do you just use your ears or do u like to see things peak at a specific db as a guide?
Example. Your snare hits at -X db and then build around it?

Yes, you could, when working with these libraries you just want to be sure about how much extra compression you're adding so you don't choke out the shells.

Just bought your course on pro mix. Unfortunately I couldnt find the email info you said was with the greetingg video. Question is there a reason module 1 course jump from 2 to 5 then back to 3 &4?

I'm using Kvlt Drums 2. According to you, better compress or not?
I'd feel comfortable compressing the Kvlt 2 shells if you feel they need more attack and control, yes
@@ChernobylAudio666 Thanks for the answer..another question: do you send the reverb to the output, to the drum channel or to the submix channel?
Need the volume up a bit more next time on your mic, phones on full volume and I can barely hear you. Love these type of videos but 🤘
