- The New AUDI Q2 might be the smallest member of a range of SUVs from the German brand which includes the Q3, Q5, Q7 and Q8, but it’s also the best selling. The AUDI Q2 is the third best selling car overall, just behind the A1 and the A3 hatchbacks. The AUDI Q2has a choice of engines, starting with a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine 108bhp (badged 1.0 30 TFSI), then theres a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol with 148bhp (badged 1.5 35 TFSI) or a 2.0-litre diesel with 148bhp (badged 2.0 35 TDI). The smallest petrol is only available with a manual gearbox, however, the 1.5 litre can be had with either a manual or a seven speed automatic. The diesel is only available with the latter.
The AUDI Q2 is pricier than the Ford Puma and Volkswagen T-Roc, but it's still a relatively sensible buy. The AUDI Q2 has the sharp looks as well as a premium badge, which will definitely have people queuing up to buy, and when you decide to sell on in the future, it’s predicted to hold its value better than both the aforementioned. The entry-level Technik trim is reasonably well equipped, with 16in alloy wheels, LED headlights, air-con and cruise control, a 3-spoke leather trimmed multifunction steering wheel, progressive steering, DAB radio, Bluetooth as well as an 8.3in infotainment system & smartphone mirroring.

Really good review! I’m absolutely searching high and low for a decent Q2 1.6 and despite what you said about the boot mesh my Labrador retriever will be comfortable in the boot hopefully! And I’ll be using it 😂

Dude, it's a great review and fit to my taste. I love your energy. The youngsters should learn from you...a lot. Even though this is not the best car between crossovers, you made it look nice and worthy. I like the car, with S-line trim of course, I had the same car in test for three days, and I can tell that first the car looked quite "ugly" but after those 3 days I hardly took it back to the dealer and left with my VW Tiguan. Thumbs up!

What are you talking about with the parcel shelf? I would say 90% of people keep them permanently in the car because they don’t want everybody to see what they’ve got in their boot. Particularly thieves...

I've had a 2020 Q2 Black Edition since August & I've had nothing but problems with it. Faulty ad blue sensor, flat battery on numerous occasions. It's going back to Audi in 3 weeks time & I'm picking up an VW Tiguan Allspace. The Q2 looks a lot better than the Tiguan but the headache I've had with the Q2 had put me right off them. Especially considering I've only done 1702 miles

Is there any difference from this and the 2021 q2 black edition as I’m getting the black edition in 2 weeks
No rear seat heating. Similar to Toyota in the Yaris Cross. Cutting back on costs and at £30K ? Wondering if a Skoda Karoq is better value ? 28mpg That's not great when my diesel 320d will get 45-58mpg
I remember back in the day when Audi were terrible cars to buy in the 80's. How much they have come on since then.
And noise levels with 17 inch wheels is good - similar to a BMW 5 series

I have a 2.0 l diesel Q2 and may be the only one in the UK with one! For the same price you can get all the toys with the petrol equivalent. However the diesel only comes as a 4 WD automatic and ind suspension all round. Compared to the petrol, it is a hoot to drive - suspension works very well and torque of the engine means immediate get up and go and easy low speed manoeuvring which is not the case with the petrol auto. So 4WD auto diesel is a good town and highway car - drive from Isle of Skye to south England in one day no issue...Slip on front wheel comment - that's why the 2.0 l diesel only comes as a quattro! And yes, I paid extra for a spare wheel

I don’t think this is the S-Line. I have a 20 plate Q2 S-Line, 1.5 S Tronic and it doesn’t come with red brake callipers or the steering wheel that is in this one. My steering wheel has the round horn button whereas this one has the squarer one which comes as standard on bigger models such as the Q3/5. I do know it comes on the Q2 Vorsprung though, are you sure this model isn’t that one? Definitely not the standard S-Line.
I'm looking at buying the s line today actually and there's no wireless phone charging or heated seats unless you pay extra for them as a pack. Could this be tge s line but with added options (of which there are meny)
In fact it was the late 70's cos i was working in wimpy to pay for my university living and whilst working for wimpy my boss had an audi and it was a terrible car and we had to constantly had to give a push start 1978 to 1982
