    Could always use some milk, an egg, a bit of vanilla and cornstarch and make some baked custards. I love those things and they really are quick lower in carbs, especially if you cut back on the sugar, or like me, I save the fruit juice from cans of fruit and use that to sweeten instead. Not a lot but just enough.

    Great job, Jennifer! You said you are doing only half the sugar ration? This will be very helpful to folks who are rationing in a family that is not rationing. Well done!

      Yes, only half the sugar ration. I don’t need that much since I stopped putting sugar in my coffee last year. I find that I just don’t use much in general.
