Come on. Daniels played the ENTIRE GAME of a Week 12 nail-biter (52-14) against mighty Georgia State, accounting for 8 TDs. That is embarrassing, or it should be. He did not need to be on the field and was obviously just padding stats. Nix played a conference opponent Week 12, threw 6 TDs, and sat after one possession in the 3rd quarter. That has happened a lot this season. Daniels is excellent, yes, but his season is done. Nix is playing at a stratospheric level right now and has miles to go before he sleeps.

Daniels has had the gift of LSU playing lower division teams, keeping Daniels in the game for all four quarters beating on the “little sisters of the poor.” Meanwhile, Nix has been pulled in the 3rd quarter of 9 of 11 of their games, because Oregon was ahead and the game was over. No. Hey, if I could write the script it would happen. Just not the year considering the other records. But it would be cool as a send-off from the Pac12.
Texas and Oregon both have Tech as a mutual opponent. Texas looked a lot more impressive in their win while Oregon and Texas Tech was much closer. That should play a bit of a factor if you ask me. 🤷🏽
Texas tech also injured several of their best players after this game, so they are a worse team than who we played. Texas tech isn’t ranked, and we held one of the best running offenses in the country to a largest running gain of 6 yards. Texas should definitely rank lower no question. They just aren’t as complete a team.
@@coleharris1641 Yes, and not only that. Texas Tech wasn't a very important game for the Ducks.
