- This vegan kale wrap is some of what my vegan 12 year old kid ate today. In honor of Veganuary, he shares why he went vegan and his favorite kale wrap recipe. This wrap is inspired by Tassili's Raw Reality in Atlanta, which he loves. Mookie has been a plant based kid for over 4 years now, along with our entire family of 8!

That's my Egyptian King right there! LOL!!! Mookie has the biggest heart... he has always been very protective of our family. It's the sweetest thing. He's also very reserved, so I'm always surprised when he asks to be in the videos. I always make sure to respect what the kids want, above all else. Listen, I tried this recipe and it blew my mind. Instead of a wrap, I put it in a flat bread like a sandwich. Although we have different guacamole recipes, it all worked out perfectly. Tassili is amazing. I kept telling my hubby that's what I wanted him to make and he just kept saying don't get excited, because I don't know how to make that. He was like, should I look up a recipe? I was like... nope, just trust your instinct. And let me tell you... it's crazy how much it tasted like Tassili's. He had Mookie as his taste tester and they nailed it. Let me know when you try it!
