Nice review. I find my 2016 GLA 45 difficult on my back at times - getting in and out, but who cares, they are so much fun to drive. The best thing about owning an AMG here on Vancouver Island is that the dealership consortium German Auto Import Network - GAIN, are the primary developers of a race track in Duncan BC. They invite new AMG owners to the track to learn how to use the capabilities of the cars. Going on a purpose built race track in these cars is really something special. It is more for training than full out racing competition. I had two full days of track time in my GLA 45 and it was a blast. The third time they invited me was for the first level of the AMG Driving Academy, and that was downright incredible. The extremely knowledgeable instructors, mostly certified racers, really gave excellent instruction that I will carry with me all my life. Thank you GAIN and Mercedes-AMG.
Fun fact: The GLA actually has MORE legroom, headroom, and front driver/passenger room than the current GLC! Mercedes will eventually update the GLC, but for now it’s actually the car that’s the real head scratcher! That’s why I bought a 2021 GLA 45 2 months ago. Gonna be great for the Calgary winter. It’s so damn fast lol
