You're supposed to use a vacuum extractor for the oil, most Mercedes have a top mounted oil filter. Much easier than draining the sump from underneath.
Come to Canada! We get the AMG A35 Hatch - maybe not 382hp, but 302hp, awd, and a lower center of gravity. Top that off with 200kg (444lbs) lighter. Spells fun to me.
I have the 2016 version of this, big wing, drivers package. I keep getting emails from the Mercedes dealership asking if I want to sell it. They say they are too hard to get and keep in stock. I love driving mine. A very fun little car. And that year, 2016, looks smaller than the more recent models. It has been on the race track a couple of times. Lots of fun doing that.
I agree, the bean scores tend to be questionable at best. Just from the video experience alone and the fact its pushing almost 400hp and shifts like a rocket it should be at least 4 beans

I'm nerding out on that bottom facing cooler. I can see that front lip causing turbulence to bounce air off the pavement and back up. It's giving me so many ideas on revamping my cooling setup.
Wow, what a cool car! 27psi is nuts on the turbo. I remember playing around with Eagle Talons 20 years ago and to get 20psi without blowing the motor wasn't easy. Nice outfit too with the heels! :)
From Sarah's glow, this car is so absolutely euphoria induceing, I think it broke Sarah's measurement-o-mometer. The smiles and compliment f bombs were on fleek! I want to see the unbroken brain scores and unplugged blooper/drives in Mexico reel!

Love your work. I've come across a few cars with quad exhausts that are slower than a glacier, but the AMG badge does make me pay attention. But not all cars with AMG badges are quick. There's a beautiful E500 AMG convertible that lives maybe 400 metres down the road from me. The AMG just means that it has an AMG appearance pack. It's still a lovely car. My next-door neighbour has an AMG A 45 and it's hot.
I feel like an AMG is only sleeper to non car people. I have a feeling most of the people watching your stuff know AMG is the real deal. Great review as always!

Lots of fun in this review. One thing I don’t get. For the prices of some of these luxury brands, seat cooling ventilation (butt-sweat eliminators) ought to be included with the heated seats option for those people living in hot climates!

I purchase high performance SUV's because i have a sharp angle from driveway to garage. Some people need the ground clearance. When i first bought this house i had an Audi RS7, near tore the front bumper of it getting into the garages......
I miss my 04 Forrester XT so when I watch you get this excited over its performance owning Mr. ForrestGump I know this thing is fun. With this brand I'd say lease rather than buy. 🐧🐧🐧🐧

With the exception of the infotainment area in the old gla45 I love those so much and they are a hot hatch. This one is sweet, especially on the inside, but wish the nose was a bit sleeker.

Have a 2018 love it. Ultimate hot hatch sleeper car. Love the new interior of this model but like the exhaust and exterior smaller size of the 2018.
