I find it interesting zombies players and fall out players intertwine so easily and so fittingly , it’s like a lot of us have grown up loving and playing both for whatever reason lol😅

No the worst outcome would have been that the sacrifices were actually kept alive and hidden in a literal utopian area of the Vault while then being able to laugh at the other dumbasses until another joins. Then the final one happens and the sacrifices die out because the AI system stops setting the stage
It would be nice if there was a way to clean up the wasteland. Like a mission that had you don a protective radiation suit and then find nuclear waste and take it to an abandoned vault to lock it up forever.
Outstanding! I know a lot of these horrors mostly through my own exploration. But you've put them in a new light for me to enjoy. I will definitely be here for a part 2. There's so much in fallout, you can milk it for a while.
Some seem like a stretch to call horror, BUT I appreciate "reading too deep" as a great way to find meaning in the mundane. Interpretation of an author's work is just as meaningful as the author's intent. I like that it was different examples than the countless other "Fallout Top 10 of a topic" videos that I always find myself watching. That was refreshing. A very well done video, a fantastic step outside the usual content and I hope to see more of these types of excursion videos in the future! (Edit: After finishing the video and sitting with this comment. I actually really appreciate the "literature analysis" nature of the video. The thought and effort going into it makes the list a lot more meaningful and enjoyable over "This is a description of location/event. Quick quip- move on". Little Lamplight would be cool to hear about from your perspective)

There's a story about the Wendigo in the classic book, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, that's creepy as hell (like all the stories in that book). I read it when I was a kid, and I still get chills thinking about it.

Not sure if the outro was alluding to it, and this might be a tall order, but I would love a part 2 focusing on the lore of fallout 76. Even the people who mock the game itself generally agree that the atmosphere and stories are bone-chilling when they want to be. From the flatwoods fridge to the story of the original wendigo colossus, to the raiders slowly mutating in that cave where uranium fever takes place...for the silliest game where everybody is flying around in their pink power armor or summer shorts blasting explosive rifles, it has some really dark lore behind it all

He's what FEV could have done to humanity, what could have happened if the bombs didn't drop, an army of people like him taking over the world for America. A large, incredibly strong individual that is proof that an ARMY of people like him could have been made, and with how hard it is to take him down.....

Some of the vaults are terrifying some of the ones we have only heard about could be interesting to see. A part of me would love to see vault 68 and 69. Mainly because it would be interesting to see how they devolved or over came the massive gender in balance. Vault 69 was 999 women and 1 man and 68 was the opposite.

I personally would recommend, the game has gotten miles better since launch and there’s actual NPCs and stuff to do now. It’s co op so that’s great for if you have some mates to hop on the game with and it’s one of the best fallout maps we’ve had imo. I’d say it’s most like fallout 4 if you enjoyed that one, and some of the environmental storytelling is on par with 3 and new vegas. The main quest isn’t too great from my experience (although I haven’t actually finished it). It feels more like an excuse to get you out into Appalachia to go and explore. It might not be for everyone, but considering you are already a fallout fan, I think it’s worth the time

you know, it took me three read throughs of Swan's notes to himself to realize why it felt familiar. Basically this entire thing is at least partly a shoutout to "Flowers for Algernon" a story of a low IQ person who volunteered for a intelligence increasing surgery that at first seems successful but as his intelligence develops he realizes it's only temporary and soon he'll be back to where he was or worse.

You can see from the Squid's textures it's actually meant to be relatively small. As bad at making games as Bethesda actually fucking is... every texture in Fallout 4 is passable. That texture for the squid wouldnt scale right.

you know, it took me three read throughs of Swan's notes to himself to realize why it felt familiar. Basically this entire thing is at least partly a shoutout to "Flowers for Algernon" a story of a low IQ person who volunteered for a intelligence increasing surgery that at first seems successful but as his intelligence develops he realizes it's only temporary and soon he'll be back to where he was or worse.

Obviously it wasn’t but hey, it was around the witch trials time and she was accused of being one along with her family
You can see from the Squid's textures it's actually meant to be relatively small. As bad at making games as Bethesda actually fucking is... every texture in Fallout 4 is passable. That texture for the squid wouldnt scale right.
