I forget to put the season into perspective because of the Finals loss, but the Mavs won the daunting Western Conference Finals, that’s a huge accomplishment, and they get to hang a banner in the AAC!

I like the new physicality, but I do believe they let players get away with much more against Luka and that puts him in an uphill battle, especially in a playoff series.

I absolutely agree that this was lost at the offensive end,defense was actually good.I think that Boston started to celebrate the title at moment they saw Nuggets got eliminated.
Defense was good?! 😂 bro mavs defense was TERRIBLE!!! All they can do is pack the paint that’s why Tatum had like 50 total assists in 5 games! Drive in , mavs pack the paint, Tatum kicks out for open 3! That’s all they did! It worked for Ant because he can’t pass and he’s dumb enough to think he can just score on 3 people. Tatum turned into an elite passer for this reason. Every playoffs they would just surround him with defenders and he couldn’t score like that. The passing makes him unstoppable, even with terrible shooting he still controlled the series.
That team did not have Porzingis or Jrue... And their coaching staff did not have Cassell or JVG. Different monster this year. Mavs would have smacked last year's Celtics, this team is different. Our Mavs are not far off though, we had a great season and we have a great young core.
Stick together guys!! Luka and Kyrie you guys saved NBA for me! Next year baby!!
