The chalk thing... It's enfuriating. You simply cannot find a chalk that's not drilled into a ring. Even if you need more chalk around the stick, you can just tap. You aren't using pro cubes, but at least try to chalk it without ruining the cube.
@@meshellejackson138 actually that's an excellent habit to have. There's never reason to drill a hole with the stick and you might even damage the tip if you do like in the vid.... It also makes it harder to apply the chalk in the future for all others. Only the tip, only for a moment, periodically (preferentially before each shot). If you have a pro stick I recommend pro chalk that does adhere better and needs less application and less intensity on it too. I use 2 types of chalk when they are available (usually they are): the cube one - 90% already drilled by others... - and one for the top of the stick/my hands. Unfortunately my hands sweat and are always oily so I end up using a lot of the second type of chalk. Nearly always end the game with both hands coated in chalk.
@@VeteranVandal serious question, why not just buy a glove? Chalking your hands, especially using "a lot of chalk" would just ruin the cloth and mean it has to constantly be brushed.
@@charliemurphy9411 I'm not sure I'm serious enough about the hobby (even playing twice a week is a bit more than usual for most people) or good enough for an investment. At any rate, if I were to make an investment, it'd be a good pool cue.
@@VeteranVandal yeah having your own cue is nice but the glove is probably cheaper and will last longer than chalk and won't dirty the table, I'd definitely have a look, especially if you're playing twice a week. 👍
@@ryanchoo9427 I’m not sure what your saying but I mean that blowing chalk onto the table can introduce unwanted errors and pulling up when taking a shot throws your shot off
That is not how pros chalk their cues. Blowing on the tip risks there being moisture on the tip, which you want to avoid. Also, pros almost always look at the shot while chalking, not the cue.
I play that second break sometimes, we do it Chicago. It’s a hustlers move who is really good at one pocket. I have many, many ways to make strategic breaks.
I have only just started playing pool, so me and my friend who also just started were playing pool at the school table, I'm sure I gave the pool pro who was watching mental brain damage
Actually the amateur would’ve racked the balls with alternating stripes and solids around the perimeter. A pro would know it’s just one solid and stripe in each of the far two corners as u did in both racks.
I've played with the 2nd best player in the world and he wouldn't break like that. Finnish dude named Karia. He used to play in a bar in Helsinki, but haven't seen him for a long time. His brother was no.1 Anyway! The break. The philosophy just seems to be hit it as hard as you fucking can to let the chaos pot from the break, but Karia always put the ball slightly back and to one side, then he'd just smash. Don't stop the cue when you connect with the white, push right through. He'd pot on the majority of his breaks. I never beat him. He called me a fairy cos I walk on my toes when I'm not wearing shoes without realising >.> I play in my socks cos I find it more comfortable
Secondly as far as breaking soft one person that is far more skilled than you are Correy duel uses a soft break and it makes your hard break look like too much
Not necessarily so, so over dramatic foe the amateur, im no pro but I dont do all that stuff, I do however do the whole wood starter with my shaper cause it works better and faster, but I dont do that with just the chalk.
No need to pick on me🤣😅

I do the chalk thing nearly every shot, just touch ups, but it's more of way to slow down and process the variables.

lol every drunk random person at a pool hall.
First break was nice
He moved the balls apart on the first one to make them move farther
@@catmixer4450 the tighter the rack the better the spread.
All these are Excellent (quick ) tips,
Thank You !
The chalk physically ruptured my brain cells to understand what compelled him to do such a thing to an innocent object
Imagine doing that to a piece of Taom chaulk
I liked the song that played for 15 seconds
Me: THE MORE CHALK THE BETTER
Never in my life did I think I would see a pink pool table
So relatable
This is facts😂
The break looked like a difference between 8ball and 1 pocket
100%like my friend 🤣🤣🤣
Damm. That one felt personal
My dad and uncle be like🤣
Damn the drunkards here on our neighborhood plays like they're former professional players 😭
Ok noted so in order to be a pro i have to close my mouth while shooting
I know a guy who plays with his mouth open and he will play the guy in the video anytime he gets ready.
Omg bro I have seriously seen people do stuff similar to this lmao that look with the chalk got me dead
Lil' unintentional side on that stop shot for the 1.. 😉😂
i hit the rack front with such a speed it was loud af
half of the balls stayed in the middle wtf
Blowing on the tip after chalking is amateur, introduces moisture could cause poor contact
Also blowing chalk on the table. He also pulls up when taking his ‘ pro shot
@@colewilford5199 because the balls were about to hit him?

Bro lol
The chalking method when I was 7
Lol.. oh man. Amateurs be about dem FP shots.🤣
As some who recanly started playing, not true, you underestimate us
Thats jail chalking the cue upsidedown
Heh... the chalk! I remember doing that as a kid.

At my first time playing billiard i was missing white ball😂😂😂
I think even an amateur can produce enough cue power to have a decent break off shot.
Being an amateur is fun tho 🤣🎉
😅😂😂❤️
I feel attacked by this video
The only one in there I do is the break
Never did see a pro, just two amateurs.
Im just not able to hit the cue ball hard yet 🥺
So this makes me a Pro player
Good question.

Who asked
@@jamesmarshal5243 smd lol.
You wanna go out some time you’re cute.
The old soft break. It's actually used more in 9 ball. But just a tad bit softer.
It is a foul
no amateur is that friend who struggles to just hit the white ball
Oh no.... Practicing several times like that is me as an amateur indeed
Music ?
Amateur or not, I’m having fun
😂😂😂😂
I’m understand, I’m PRO.
So true!
you da best
Nice❤️❤️❤️❤️
Need a lot of practice, time, patience for such first break outcomes. Nice 😉
Fax 😂
No amateur chalks like that lol
Speak for yourself friend
Right I’ve done that
I have only just started playing pool, so me and my friend who also just started were playing pool at the school table, I'm sure I gave the pool pro who was watching mental brain damage
Tip never blow on you cue tips
But it makes me look cool
lol! the amateur is chalking his stick like a boy scout making fire out of stick!
I am an amateur, and I am proud of it
Efren Reyes
Number 2 is me
Is that melrose? 🤔
I am a kid a pro and amateur at the same time
I think a person is pro when he at least can hold this strange billiard stick properly
I thought this was gonna be a legit difference clip. Haha. According to this, I'm pro. Ha
@ me next time !
Has any pro pool player tried to play snooker coz I can't find anything on the internet
What u saying abt magician? Uhh
As an amateur, I can confirm that first part is not true. I slam balls as hard as I can lol.
Im an amateur but I don't strike like that MAYBE IM A PRO 😳😳
Pretty easy to fix your technique and shoot like a pro, the hard part is controlling the white and aiming with accuracy, this needs a lot of practice
Yep lol
hahahaah
Video about billiards but he plays 8 ball?
so youre saying that the only difference between breaks of a professional and amateur player is the strenght of the shot. Geez this is so stupid
Pros don't blow the chalk off the tip that they just chalked.
So I don’t want to break REALLY HARD cuz ya know... you sacrifice ACCURACY for SPEED (plus I’m a begginer)
Amateur is just a person who doesn't play for money. Doesn't mean they bad
My son is worse than an Amateur but I still can’t beat him
I’m a amateur
But amateur player can make fire by using the chalk 😁
Pro’s don’t blows at the stick🙄
A pro does not blow the chalk from the tip
Actually the amateur would’ve racked the balls with alternating stripes and solids around the perimeter. A pro would know it’s just one solid and stripe in each of the far two corners as u did in both racks.
Someone's salty about losing to an amateur. ;)
so you blow on the tip after chalking? never do that just tap it lightly to the floor. the moisture in your breath will not help!
song?
Im that amatuer in The Break HAHAHHAHA but everything else im the pro no flexing im just sayin..

Hint:not pro
This is pool, not billiards. Goodbye
