A race-to-8 double elimination bracket will reduce the field to 32 players who will then face single elimination, race to 10, to determine the champion.
This will be the ninth staging of the men’s World 8-Ball Championship. It had previously been played in Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates before being revived from a ten-year hiatus in Puerto Rico last year.
Also taking place in Klagenfurt this week: the Predator WPA World 10-Ball Women’s Championship (18-22 October) and the Predator WPA World 10-Ball Junior Championships (19-22 October), which has divisions for Girls, Boys Under-19s and Boys Under-17s.

In the seventh frame, after playing a perfect stun run through shot into the side, then getting perfect shape on the eight, and just nudging the chalk over with his cue, so he could bridge… that was absurdly clean.

The last time shane had a 40 min match was when he obliterated Liu haitao at the world pool masters in 2015. That one was impressive

Sina SUCKS! He had early opportunities. I'd say a FARGO of 525? If he was a 700+ FARGO, Shane would have been doing the monster break from the center of the table. Shane was playing with him.

@@user-oi1ng3zr6u It is. Typically if it's an obvious shot, verbally calling it or even pointing it out isn't necessary. Calling is really only required when it's unclear where the player is going to attempt to pocket the ball. At least that's how it's done in the BCA league I play under, which is pretty much the same as WPA rules.
