I am not a part of this culture at all but every time I watch a haka dance being performed I cannot help but feel real emotions and tears of joy just build-up inside of me. This is all quite amazing and I truly wish that some people would just stop being so ignorant about this because I truly believe that it is disrespectful to their/this culture !!!! 🙂🙂🙂🙂
it's so sweet to see ppl respecting each others cultures and sharing the most beautiful and beloved part of their cultures with the ones the cherish😊 You can tell those guys earned it
+deluxxtwofour7 It seems like they are farewelling a group from the US, exchange students or a visiting rugby team maybe. If it's a rugby team I don't know why only four of them were there.
Exchange students from the USA, there year has ended so it was a respect from the their fellow students for there final farewell from the seniors of the school
Depends on the context. Can be a farewell at a funeral, a celebration at a wedding, intimidation before a battle. There are many different Hakas with different words, actions and meaning
I've seen the energy produced after one of these rituals before a highschool football game. Awesome! Some young men, anxious, putting on their pads for the first time for a game, participating to the fullest. And the looks on their faces after a win.🤝🤝🤜🤛🥲 With smiles and tears of victory.
@@ngatibroffessor1840 I'm ashamed to admit but yeah. We islanders always fast pace ourselves. The Haka is nothing like the Kuki dance which is constant movement and not staying in the same spot for long. I admit I did the same mistake a few times. But once you slow down and put more heart into your actions than you feel more invigorated and powerful.
Ughh... It's called cultural appreciation. US absolutely has culture. The US also incorporates a shitton of culture within its own, ever hear of the 'melting pot'. But keep hating, cuties.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.” Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him. But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

Russian? School boys haka. From NZ

Ręce z kieszeni.
Boys slow the Haka down abit doesn't sound good when done to fast it starts sounding like Samoans or Tongan when done to fast
Tru tru...a true haka is when its done properly in a normal pace and not rushed
Well noted...Islanders have a habit of going to fast...same with Pakeha...Its is a steady beat...closer to a beating heart.
