Why does this Haka send a shiver down my spine every time I watch it, incredible passion. One day I would love to be able to see a haka in the flesh and feel that passion. It must have been incredible to be in that room.
Goosebumps. Much respect to the kiwis of NZ you have an amazing culture ❤️ love from the Philippines 🇵🇭
Me: *is a white girl from europe*
Also me: starts crying watching a different culture's ritual

Whoa I've been watching some haka videos and I'm kinda crying my eyes out right know. Something about this is so moving to me
We as a species have been doing this sort of thing for tens of thousands of years, it speaks to the deepest part our souls even if we don't know the words.
Honestly same here
I did the haka in front of my Chihuahua... Now it is a Rottweiler
Bwahaaaa "🤣🤣🤣
Omg this comment is the best! 😂
Good one, got a good laugh from your comment!!😅😂👍🏼
🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Your video has got me hooked to the the Haka! It's just magnificent...and the energy...enchanting
The passion, love and pride shown in this is infectious. Love it.
Fantastic!! I love it!! I'm an italian rugby player and just watching the haka by the All Blacks is incredible each time, but after this I say: NZ is beatiful and also all the people who live there. I want to visit this wonderfull country once, certanly, in my life!! Respect!! #loveNZ❤
Didnt know my neighbours upstairs were from new zealand...
😂😂
@Chokyi Nima they probably very loud lol
Not funny
Akif Rahman referring to your post:Let’s just say this. All of us are from “New Zealand.” I’m sure u are. You probably have a little New Zealand in u. I am. If u know what I mean...😜😜😜
Ps. This is just a joke. Please don’t take this serious.
I'm dead. :))))
I think I need to move to New Zealand
Low key though, now I know where lil Jon got his sound
Mishxoxo x2 i love nz beatiful culture
Mishxoxo i said the same thing .... they know how to fucking make yiu feel apart of the culture
Yeah I want to move to New Zealand too
Mishxoxo you can have a Haka... anywhere dude
I think I am supposed to be from NZ because Haka does something to my soul!!
Me too, whenever I watch haka it fills me up with a very powerful surges of energy
Something about awakens some deep tribal dna. Or it shows how we are all one.
Facts!!!
It means you are connected to it from your ancestors the goosebumps you feel the sudden burst of emotional strength is them coming out of you no matter what nationality your are if you connect to it like that. That's what a haka means
Me too man. I feel so much connected and into this.
I've tons of respect for ppl that keep their culture alive. Dont let it die. Beautiful Haka. Congratulations to the couple.
shoo, i need a Maori in my life. lol
They do it with so much feeling, that's what men with pride look like
Orlando wtf are you talking about
Nothing beats the hakka to stir emotions and I'm not even from NZ.respect from the UK. 👍👍
I love when people express their culture in such a positive and beautiful way.
No idea what they are saying. No idea about any of that. But I want to run through a brick wall
A traditional wedding Haka is basically saying be a good man and do what is right.
its to show respect.
Jack 😂😂😂😂😂
the haka is two fold here first it's the bride's family asking the groom is he worthy of this women, the groom responds by copying the haka
This is one of the funniest things ive ever read and i completely agree
I am from the states, the southern states. I find this to be so incredibly moving, and beautiful and awe inspired! I have seen several Haka preformed on TH-cam and it just grabbed me by the heart the first time I saw it. I looked up the meanings, the words the symbolism of it...BREATHTAKING! BEAUTIFUL! Sooo incredibly moving! Thank you for sharing your beautiful culture .
It's even better in person, I'll tell you that. To me, the videos never really do much justice for the real thing
Cari D k
When you see one done in person its moving. My cousins done a haka for my lil bros wedding and the emotion and strength resonating of each of them left me in tears. It's a different feeling when performing one though, awesome to be on both sides
Everytime I watch one of these, my emotions get the best of me....these are incredible 😢😢😢
I have nothing to do with your culture, I'm Latina, every time I see a haka I cry like a baby, really impressive, thanks for sharing
I thought I was the only one. I’m Puerto Rican and I always tear up.
Calmate pendeja
I have grown up with this culture and I love it. It’s so masculine! So powerful and moving. So happy other cultures love it too 🥰
Then every female within a 10 mile radius became pregnant.
Awesome stuff! Congrats to you both ;]
Haha testosterone flying around everywhere

Michael Jarrett hahaha i love this comment
I don't know why, but I'm crying ...😭😭very beautiful
A sério não consegui conter as lágrimas. Parabéns aos noivos. Muita emoção envolvida neste vídeo
Me too. And I've seen this haka so many times through my life. It's the energy
"There you go, world. You will never be this awesome."
Congratulations both of you and thank you for this amazing video.
Damn... that is probably the best wedding entrance I have ever seen! love the tribal essence! No one will mess with his bride... shiet! awesome awesome stuff!
As American I have always we had a dance that connected our people together. I was born in the South where probably half the population does not due to religion. This dance, the respect and the tradition made me cry. I pray the wedding couple are well.
I absolutely love this haka. It's so powerful and totally in sync. Awesome! Can't get enough of it. :-)
Alexandra Montanus hi, you might want to check out "Auckland 2017 Maori Haka" one of the best.
I know nothing of the culture, yet am so intrigued by this practice and, quite frankly, could run thru an eff'ing wall right now I'm so amped. Wish the couple the best.
Amazing!!! Hello everyone. I'd like to make this haka here in Madagascar. Can someone give me the lyrics and it's English translation. Thanks in advance.
😂😂👍👍
Idk why I always cry and get so emotional when I see these videos of when they perform Haka 😭❤️ this is not my culture but it’s so beautiful
I was born and raised in NYC, my mom was born in Puerto Rico and my father in Dominican Republic. But when I hear The Haka I get soo emotional, I wanna cry, I wanna scream, I want to cry, this emotion that goes through my body. My family looks at me like "Why u get like that?"
We all come from the one creator Sister. We Maori have never forgotten who we are and our relationship with all God's creations. Much love to you and your family.
@@kinasandwich7624 Thanks. Many BLESSINGS for you and you're family!
I feel bad for anyone trying to crash that wedding
Hug -A- Bull wedding crash you
😄😄😄😄😄
Its crazy how it makes people from all different walks of life feel something. Its really deep. An contagious makes you wanna do it too!!!
Cook Islands Maori and New Zealand Maori at this wedding - the entrance dance and those drums are unmistakable then the haka - yeah bro
I love to see how that kid perfoms the Haka with so much passion. It shows how proud he is of his heritage ❤️❤️❤️
Girls changing room: OMG Ethan is such a creep
Boys changing room:
😡😛😠
In america maybe, girls do the haka in nz too.
No.
What now :3
@@ethanyap7261 youre perfect
Watched this while waiting in my honda civic as my wife went shopping. When she came back out, i was sitting in an Abrams battle tank. How'd that happen?
😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
This comment almost made me pee myself
That was awesome! I looove "toxic" masculinity! LOL!
The amount of respect, energy, culture, and overall emotion from the Haka is truly amazing and powerful
I’m at a lost for words...my spirit feels like it’s on fire.
Dude it is so frustrating because im a mexican who actually would loved to do this! Is just no one would join me haha 😭
Riiight!!! Like I want my family to do these type of things for me!
We on the same boat buddy, it gives me the chills just by watching Haka videos that i want to learn it
Love the Cook Island & Maori culture.. beautiful wedding, she did an amazing job dancing to the COOK ISLAND drums 👍..MAORI haka was on flick 👌
Here I am crying my eyes out . I felt every movement and shout in my whole soul . Beautiful!!!!!!
One culture that sticks to tradition and makes family priority
I love the high level of masculinity here. I showed this to my 7yr old son & told him that the groom has to prove himself in order to be the brides husband.
@@MrWoods0_0 shut up
That’s beautiful, however that’s not the meaning behind this haka.
@@Bigfellr dont shut up him, he is right.
@@Bigfellr uh no, hes right but ok
Absolutely amazing! I love to see you people celebrating the Haka! You guys are awesome and i hope you keep living your culture and traditions and teach it to your childrens....that's what makes you unique! Greetz and love from Germany!
To the Maori this Yank salutes you. I love seeing people who take pride and enjoyment in their own and other cultures.
@Worzal Gummidge yep.
I absolutely love watching this tradition still being honored, makes me wish I was from that culture!! The very best part to me is the crazy eyes and them sticking out their tongues!! Oh, and if that bride isn't a model she's missed her calling!! She's beyond gorgeous!!
I always love it when I see people remember their roots. We Africans are traditional people and I always admire others foreigners that still know and identify with their tradition. It is a true identity of who we are, its nature is history of thousands of years past still abiding in our ways and livelihood. Bless all tribes on the face of the earth🙂
Brother I am from Aotearoa nz and I'm Maori. We are all from Afrika the motherland brother ... We just travelled further from home to the true garden of Eden
I'm not from New Zealand, but this is really amazing. Got goosebumps, congrats to the newly weds
Karim Iskandarani you play rainbow six siege dont you
It's an amazing demonstration of an ancient tradition of their culture. It is very impressive and definitely raises curiosity about it's meaning and the Culture itself.
Very Cool - Thank you for sharing.
My husband and I had out wedding on the Island of Oahu, my sister lived there at the time and we fell in love with the culture. We didn't have it on the touristy Diamond Head(Even though it is beautiful). We had it at a little private park that used to be private property. We live in Louisiana and there was a student on the LSU Football team that was from Hawaii and his brother, father and friends did the Haka dance for him before the game. I thought it was amazing. Then when went to "The Kings Luau" I got the opportunity to see it up front and close, it was awesome and I totally respect those young men. Mahalo!
