    I am very disappointed in the actions of some people's comments on here, it show's a great lack of respect for what people believe in and where they are from whether it be by birth or by heritage, if you do not like the video or the comments other small minded little piece's of crap have made then don't respond and leave my page. I don't come and deface your video's and crush something that you are proud of so don't do it to mine.

      if you think Americans don't embrace its Indigenous peoples then you are the ones propagating the hate, I am an American Indian and All that know me respect my culture, and respect me as a person, only those that say that Americans don't respect other races or peoples see the racial hatred in their eyes because of the racial hatred they see in them selves........you wanna stop racism, stop flippin talking about it! This ain't a flash mob - flash mobs are random and unexpected and they were waiting for an "aborigine" to lead the haka! What is up with that? Still loved the haka afterwards though.

  • @ljkennedy1
    @ljkennedy1  13 ปีที่แล้ว

    I know it wasn't a flash mob, it was meant to be but you can see by the sheer size of the crowd that there was no hope in h@#l that they were going to be able to pull off a completely random and unexpected flash mod, especially when the news cameras and the police turned up....

    Was the flash mob to respect those who died in 9/11? I don't understand why Kapa o Pango was performed though. It's a haka that was created specifically for the All Blacks. Kapo o Pango literally means team in black. Perform Ka Mate, sure. Doing Kapa o Pango is just a bit odd.

    Thats the good thing about our Taha-Maori no one can take it away,And we don't answer to no body,but our Iwi. Those outsiders just don't understand. Maori have held what so many other cultures of the world have lost forever, their true way of life. So many have settle for a western life style maybe going to church is a far as their culture allow then to go. So when they see Maori,They havent got nothing like that.

    Ano! What ive noticed is tha regardless of wats been say'd, the numba of viewers/subscribers is wat counts the most!!! Ive read hundreds of comments; heaps of positive1s, some negative1s, nd the odd disgusting-filthy1s: Hey! People comment, others respond? This is the beauty of a social hub but, it could also be the demise of a channel? This would depend apon the uploaders reason 4.publicising their vid clip, e.g. 2be recognised or, 2.redicule/hat. 2share a gr8 moment or, 2expose say abuse. Ae!!

    LjKennedy you done a gr8 job recording this precious 'Tikanga Maori-KapaHaka' flash-mob performance; Sydney Australia. That was an amazingly large crowd of people nd im thinking that they were not all Maori but, were interconnected by some invisable cultural thread that brought them en-mass to this place for a specific purpose? To tell us, their people at home that they are safe, well, happy nd miss us like crazy!! Personally, i just want them 2come hoommee :'( :'( :'( Kia Ora, luv u ljkennedy1

    Gosh people need to get over themselves. All the maori people ive met have been kind and havent been arrogant at all. Just because they like to celebrate their culture. How is it different from aussies celebrating australia day or singing the national anthem?? it isnt. So get over yourselves people. BTW i am an aussie and think nz's are awesome. They celebrate their culture and its an amazing spectacle to watch :)

    Love this and all forms of pride for ones own country...
    Although as ashamed as I am about the few shit stirring Aussies (and others) disrespecting the Haka, it's sad to see how much hate the Maori people still have against the 'white man'.I know the history and realize alot of shit went down not so long ago to ancestors but don't expect respect from others when you give non. ..... Just saying....

    Hmm...dont get me wrong, every time I watch the Haka I get chills. There is a feeling that cuts to the core of some kind of...unity of purpose or unity of will. But I don't think I felt that way for this video or any of the other flash mob hakas because of that lack of purpose. Alls I get is the felling that a buch of people find that it might be fun to yell real loud and slap their foremarms haha! No denying it looks like fun though!!

    I don't care if you hate black people, brown people, green people, whatever. It really doesn't matter. Because whoever you are, if you're face to face with a group of large Maoris doing a haka, it's pretty fucking intimidating. Remember, these are people who were forced to change their haka to something less mean-looking because it was scaring the shit out of other rugby teams. Look up the old haka the All Blacks used to do. It's fucking murderous.
