Sorry to disagree - there are legions of people who know Thelonious Monk and his music. Just because they are not here, doesn't mean they don't exist. Most of them already have all of his work in one form or another - vinyl, tapes, CDs (yes, they are still around) - and many of them had the luck to have seen him play live but they are all getting on now, sadly.

Monk fans - public service tip- Monk at Palo Alto High School being released July 2020. Advance review says it’s a high energy concert.
And get this, a student caused the the concert to happen. Ordered one for me and one for my son.
