The two videos you've put (this and the profitability one) are the best piece of literature we have on TH-cam for case studies. So glad , I stumbled upon these
This is such a great solutioning, I had to rewind the video in several places to fully grasp every analysis, assumption and framework. One thing I found lacking was a good summary. The interviewee should have recapped the context, the objectives, the analysis he did (studied the competition, estimated the target segment, projected revenues and cashflows), the findings and risks, and ended with next steps (do a full P&L projection taking discount rate into account, do user research to find out customer preferences and then shape the product features, create a plan to develop and launch the product etc.)
this video is amazing, it helped a lot not just the mock interview but the reflections on each section with feedbacks. We would love to see more of this professional mock interviews on TH-cam. Thank you
it will help to add the part of quantitative calculations written like that part of the weighted average, it is not easy to figure out and come on mind. can you please explain why the weighted avg done and how?
Hi guys just wanna say thank you so much for these case interview example videos (although there're currently only two, I really find them useful), please keep going!
That's how weighted average is calculated. This is the formula: (500K average loan amount* 200K customers + 100K * 300K)/ 500K. Here, 500K is the sum of 200K+300K customers. The answer is 260K.
Hello Prepmatter, Actually I am learning from your videos and quite consistent on your channel due to my upcoming placements. I must say the videos are at the level of excellence and I love it. But I would like to see more content similar to the above interviews but based on other types of case studies like merger and acquisition, pricing, and growth strategy as well if possible unconventional cases. I would love to learn from you guys Mr. Deniz and Mr. Doga. Thank you so much for considering my request.
Thank you so much for your great words! On TH-cam, we cover 3 main case study topics, and in our Get the Offer course, we have many more full-length case study videos covering all topic types: prepmatter.com/get-the-offer

Hey, is someone able to explain to me why we are dividing the 130k by 5 to get the 260k
That's how weighted average is calculated. This is the formula: (500K average loan amount* 200K customers + 100K * 300K)/ 500K. Here, 500K is the sum of 200K+300K customers. The answer is 260K.

It's 20K in year 4, but the cumulative number is 50K by the end of year 4.
