I would like to express my thanks and gratitude to @TheSteffovic for sharing this video of this classic show AND, most importantly, for enabling the closed captioning for deaf people like me. Having been born in 1985, I grew up in the 90's and this is one of the shows I used to watch regularly. Good old 90's!
2:39-2:52 - I wasn’t watching late night talk shows back then, but that joke about take your daughter to work day really hit home because I was in 11th grade; and I and all the other boys in class were mad that we had to go to school while the girls didn’t. Apparently we weren’t the only ones because not long after that, the day was changed to take your _child_ to work day.
Jay was terrific. It was a great Era in Late Night Television. Thanks for sharing.
