I like the longer videos but it's what ever is easier for you and makes you the most money! Don't get TH-cam burn out trying to make everyone happy do what works for you/ your family and we will watch!! Love all your videos!! Your recipes are creative and tasty and you are very genuine!
Hi Gaby!!! I liked your recipe for today. Its just me now. Go to a Goodwill or even Yard Sales and look around. They sell all kind of cookware. You could buy a 8x8 square dish for cheap. Just soak it and wash it good when you get home. Anyways I like these meals for 1...YUMS!!!...Great Video!!!...🦋
Whenever I get the jeebs about buying used cooking stuff I remind myself every resturant we go to os reusing dishes for everyone and a good cleaning will be just fine.
I like it either way. I think you should do whatever makes it easier for you. I know your kids always come and eat if you make things...lol because teenagers can eat in their sleep. But, you make it how it works for you and your family. I will watch it. I love your videos and learning new recipes
You remind me of my first husbands family. I enjoy watching however you choose to make your videos. Whatever works for you and your family. I enjoy cooking Mexican food and my kids like it since it's what they grew up on.
We just got a quesadilla maker at thenthrift store beand new for 5 bucks and it makes the best quesadillas but the best part is its a super easy lunch or dinner my 4 teen boys can make
Just found your channel two days ago and have been binging on your wonderful content. I love the way you budget and use every bit to make some of the most comforting Mexican foods on the TH-cam. I subscribed today!
First time watching it's just me now a widow these dishes are great easy & inexpensive love Mex food I would like to learn how to make green salsa verda sorry for misspelled God Bless 🙏
Greetings from NY. I'm new to your channel. I don't know a thing about how to cook Mexican food and am excited you are providing your wisdom to others. I'd like to make all these recipes. In the description section I only see one recipe listed. Where can I locate the others? This is the first time viewing your channel 🥰
Hi, some of the recipes if they have more than 3 ingredients and the process is more complicated or more to do I do write down the recipe on my website. But if not it's only in the video. I tried to list the ingredients. My goal is to been able to have every single recipe on my website. (Working on it). Here is the link for my website mexicancookingonabudget.com/
And here is my other website where I have some recipes but we will transfer all these ones to the English website. But you can look at it here as well cocinandorico.com/english/ Thanks for watching
I love your videos the way you did this one with the full days worth of meals. Was that cactus that you added to the salsa? I really want to try the fried whipped egg whites recipe
Hi Gabby for me , I would never think to put Oatmeal in a corn tortillas just not my thing ... N whatever way u want to it dsnt matter to me , it's ur channel u do it they what u want n what's easier for u or what u feel more comfortable with ...Best if luck to u whatever u choose ...ty for sharing all ur recipes n ideas ...🌷
Dairy free has been easy for us because we can found everything at the store, and everything taste pretty good, the only thing that doesn't is the cream cheese, but everything else tastes pretty good)I do not have an experience with gluten free. Most of the recipes are made with corn tortilla so we are good there, but J know that is more than that. Sorry!!
Thank you so much for sharing your recipes and how to info. As I get older, the Amer-Mex food I can get locally just gets 'worse' each year. My old taste buds want more. Having tried a few of your recipes, I have rediscovered my joy of Mexican food. And, thanks to you it is the closest I have ever come to 'real,' lol. Yum in my tum! (haven't watched all of your channel yet) I am hoping to find more ways to use jicama and chayote squash as my Walmart now has them fairly regularly and they are cheap and good.
I agree with all who urge you to do what is best for you. I like the newer style but I'll watch any format. I particularly appreciate recipes like the oat tacos that finished this video because I'm vegan. I love learning about Mexican home cooking even when you use meat and cheese, but a recipe I can try exactly as you made it is wonderful. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING THESE VIDEOS.
Love your channel. I am trying to understand your ingredients. Im wondering what the ingredients are in this second dish. What exactly are those green things again? Sorry to sound ignorant, I just have zero understanding of Spanish.
@lisababcock2650 ~ I'm not Hispanic, but have some understanding of the ingredients, since my cousin was married to a Mexican woman for many years. Nopalitos are cactus pads. Gaby purchased a large jar of them (they were cut in strips when canned; she kind of dices them smaller) when she made her purchases for this week's frugal menu.
I have made a few with ground beef. The most easiest is tomatillos and jalapen̈os in boiling water once they changed color blended them.with sal and some water. Super good.
I like the shorter videos. All of these recipes look yummy
