The Imperial Laurels are one of the highest decorations a Space Marine can receive. They symbolize that the recipient is a proven warrior who stands head and shoulders above the rest in terms of skill, loyalty, and honor. It doesn't represent an increase in rank, but it grants certain privileges and significant social influence that can allow one to act more freely and to have more impact on Chapter decisions than one's rank would normally permit.
It basically means that whatever his rank is, this man is Champion of the Empire and a great hero. Give him all the respect, loyalty and admiration he deserves

Probably because he is a gestalt entity now. Present across the galaxy. It is no coincidence that one of the main theories of his origin and the sacrifice of 1000 psykers a day he receives are so alike. Many become one. Hes no God. There are no such things in 40k. Getting the Laurels of Victory must be the peak of your life right after hearing your father telling you that he is proud of you. 😂 This game alone restored my faith in the future of video games. Masculinity and testosterone override.
sacrifice. Courage and honour.
FOR THE EMPEROR!
Calgar calling any marine "brother" has to be up there at the top.
This game had more heart and brotherhood than any other game in the last 10 years, seeing my boy Titus finally finding his brothers after all that time serving I. The deathwatch brought a little manly tear to my eye
Who is that fine looking fella behind Calgar? 3:45
Honor guard
Victrix Guards.
Ultra drip inspector
Space Marine 3: Chapter Master Titus
And then you have the likes of Malum Caedo soloing many Lords Of Change on Graia....
That mofo is on another level, haha!
Caedo already had the Laurels of Victory when he landed on Graia, so he must've done something atleast similar to Titus before he became the unstoppable force of the Emperor's wrath he is now
I head canon that the only reason malum survives his mission on graia is because knorne empowered him with regeneration in a bet against tzeetch who let's it happen because he wants to see/doesn't believe that malum truly has it in him to fight to the end, I mean he's basically 40k doomslayer so why not
*looks over at every librarian ever* OH ARE THEEEEY HERETICS?!
Chief Librarian Tigurius would like to have a Word 🤣
When you realise it`s the Emperor speaking "Rise Son of Guilliman" and not Calgar 😳
Leandros, the Ultimate Karen of the 40, 000k Universe
Calgar out here with the Payday 2 Inspire skill maxed
This game has restored my faith in brotherhood. I think i just have a soft spot for military
I hope Guilliman confront Leandro’s himself, not to kill him, but to present him to all his sons saying, “May all the Sons of Ultramar behold, Leandros. A traitorous brother to a hero of the Imperium itself, for his actions has not only betrayed us, but held back the Imperium as a whole. May all now behold Leandros as such, Leandros - Ultramars greatest failure!”
Or he just call Blood Raven (already met at Graia) and told them "I have one Chaplain that broke the Codex, a rare sample indeed".
Doubt it
@@superspies32better yet, have Guilliman encounter Trazyn the Infinite and go “This son of mine is such an oddity that would go great in your archives”.
What is the laurals of victory?
Is it a higher rank than Captain that Titus once was? Im still trying to catch up on all this 40k Warhammer lore as much as i can
The Imperial Laurels are one of the highest decorations a Space Marine can receive.
Space marine version of the US Medal of Honor
It's the him certificate of the space marines
Its a medal that basically says : this soldier is him
It basically means that whatever his rank is, this man is Champion of the Empire and a great hero. Give him all the respect, loyalty and admiration he deserves
0:35 My mom when I ask for 5 more minutes of sleep.
😅
Sooo... does that make him on-par with Malum Caedo ?
Almost, Caedo is a Sternguard Veteran from the 1st Company, basicaly best of the best amongst "regular" Ultramarines. Only above them are like Cato Sicarius, Marneus Calgar or Bobby G, but they are totally overpowered with plot armor.
Well yeah, but having played Boltgun, Caedo just solos heretics, the Black Legion, chaos demons & Lords Of Change like it's nothing xD -- whereas you have Ultramarines here in Space Marine 2 struggling with the single Lord Of Change.
Cool, didn't know that.
And yes, the Lord of Change from the campaign really was a struggle.
No clue how Caedo soloes those. 😅
Basically 40K's Doomslayer.😄
@@spiritofsound8469 Caedo's just built different...
So apparently, to become a Chaplain you must take a 100 years long Vow of Silence...
Was this Calgar's way of telling Leandros to shut the fuck up?
I believe so. Even though the lore did not specify how but it was a punishment by Calgar.
Probably we will see Guilliman in Space Marine 3.
Calgar is the kind of person you want spotting you in the gym.
Leandros is the type of person who will never admit he royally fucked up. Titus could have been saving the imperium for an extra century instead ot being pointlessly tortured.
It’s so surreal to see a Warhammer story with an honest to god good ending. Almost doesn’t feel like 40k😅
Leandros will turn in chaos side. He’s jealous of titus because after all he has done after he snitch on titus lord calgar still sides on titus leandros the herratic
Then why would he have done all the things he did for him in this game
Calgar's revive perks. Get up! and Titus revived. 😂
It was big E himself not Calgar
@@twat9192 😮
‘GET UP!’ said the chapter master calmly.
Let us not forget, it was a Chaplain that caused the largest spread of chaos existence to date.
I like to think that when the door of the thunderhawk was shut, Titus would turn to Calgar and ask “Can I beat the shit outta that snitch now?”
That would just be suspicious leandros was the one who had Totus placed back in 2nd company and the one who supported him when the asyropath that got possessed called him a heretic, and then he's also the one who recommended Titus for the important mission under clagar himself
3:41 that one marine on the right rly wanted to go home 😂😂
3:47
Titus : My lord, that
His voice is full of motion. i can feel his feeling
3:40 That looks an awful like heresy magic to me, Leandros.
Glad he's a primaris that he can endure the potent warp energies , if not he'll do the same thing to the traitor sorcerer, being disintegrated from existence
He already do that in SM 1, many theorizes that he has Pariah gene inside, basically a psykic blank.
@@superspies32 Problem is if he'd been identified as a blank, a black ship would've taken him or the gene seed wouldn't have taken root. TBH, he's probably closer to a budding imperial saint.
Being a primaris is not the reason Titus can survive the shards. He was a normal space marine in the first game and survived. Calgar said it himself, Titus devotion and strength of mind is why he can endure chaos. Chaos is the immaterum, only thoughts and energy. A strong will can push back, even control the warp, best example is the Emperor when be lit Nurgles garden on fire.
@@Aurora-313 a Black ship takes Psyker for sacrifice. Blanks usually not survived due to mothers and all people around tended to kill them on birth for mistaken them as mutants (a uncontrolled blank will constantly ripped people's soul from their body, cause extremely painful or unconfortable). But we did not know how Titus be recruited, maybe he has hetero in Pariath gene so its effect reduced a lot, but still resilient to Chaos.
@@superspies32 My apologies for misremembering then. My point is, if he had been a blank it would've been detected well before he went through his initiation. But no, I think this is closer to what Garro became at the end, a budding living saint.
1:21 how the hell does the emperor himself seem to take notice and revive a random space marine?
He can't even form a coherent sentence when talking to guiliman.
God Emperor moves in mysterious ways
A living Saints
Probably because he is a gestalt entity now. Present across the galaxy. That he aids Guard, Sister, Astartes or any other human alike in moments like this is precisely why he spoke to Guilliman in such an inhuman fashion.
It is no coincidence that one of the main theories of his origin and the sacrifice of 1000 psykers a day he receives are so alike. Many become one. Hes no God. There are no such things in 40k. But he is the cosmic manifestation of human strength and defiance. The anathema indeed since Chaos is weakness and surrender.
The emperors psychic is fragmented and sometimes a stable Version is created for a short time and the main Body on terra is the rest fragmented psychi of the emperor yes there is the starchild which includes the compassion of the emperor but the biggest risk is should eher the physikal body of the emperor dies then there would be the risk that he immeadietly ascend into the Dark King the 5 Chaos Deaty and the true goal of the Gods all along and in the last solar wars book it was told that it would take 10k Years until the King could rise his realm and Armys are ready in the Warp
Because he is Big G.
Sidonus would be proud of titus, as well as gadriel and chairon
I can see leandros falling to chaos and being the villain in space marine 3
“Rise… son of Guilliman…” the big E himself speaks
You know he's stupid when he took the time to fit a coat around space marine armor.
I really loved that horn sound that played when Leandros' face was revealed.
What a character leandros is lmao. i bet he will become an antagonist at some point or... a really loved hero that redeems himself from being such a hater.
Leandros finds out he was adopted from the Black Templars
2:49 "I love my battle brothers and I love my Primarch and I love my chapter and uh... The Emperor protects, I guess. What else can you say?"
The voice actor for Titus FUCKIN KILLED IT with that scream at the end 😂. The moment this scene played I scared the absolute fuck outa my cat and neighbors screaming "FUCK YEEAAHH FOR THE EMPEROR!!! FOR... ULTRAMAAR" 😂
For da emprah!
When the Emperor tell you to rise, you rise.
I love Titus lookin back at the end like " I don't wanna go with Leandros can my bros come with us instead? "
😂🤣😅 🤨
I get the Leandros hate but like he gave Titus a chance back into the brotherhood and guided him through it all. He is still a piece of shit but like also I thought he was doing what was best for his brothers
He was ordered to
He never ever did this by his own will.
Papa Calgar just straight tanking a greater daemon
2:47 I mean I love my battle brothers, I love my emperor, I love my home planet, emperor bless the imperium I guess yeah what is there else to say?
Calgar’s “get up” is a fkn buff. Any dying Marine would get up in an instant lol
3:41 lmao.. Chaplain despise Titus so much that he warp staright outta there XDDD
Leandros, the kind of high school kid that reports to the teacher about the homework.
Guys, I have a question. Did titus actually die and the emperor pulled a dante on him? Or was it just the devs letting us know that the emperor notices titus? I need to know
I love Calgar telling Titus to get up that’d inspire the shit out of me.
Just notice titus eyes glow before it collapsed and he passes out
Before this game my only perception of Calgar was TTS. This game has forever changed that.
I've heard some people questioning if Leandro really got punished by becoming a Chaplain. Those people seem to forget that Chaplain training isn't exactly a walk in the park, only one that'd be FAR more difficult would be the Black Templar Chaplaincy.
Hopefully Space Marines 3 includes Necrons etc
Bruhh leandros is about to have a flip and become a homeboy next dlc. GAWD I HOPE THIS GAME LASTS 10 YEARS. SO FUCKING GOOD.
When Marneus Calgar tells you to get up, you G E T T H E F E C K U P
Goddammit i can hear Karl the Deranged 😂
Bro didnt even get a promotion back to Captain. He just got kept as a Lieutentant.
The current 2nd company captain is still alive, thats the entire reason he is a lieutenant in the first place when coming back.
Acheran doing a good job, so there no reason to switch them for Titus. Also Titus do not actually want that.
@@aisnice7421 Exactly. Titus ultimately just wanted to come home to his brothers and atone in their eyes. Sure there was some iffy business with him going against orders and Acheran, but given it was the power source of the first game (aka. The thing that cost him his honour and standing) and what it can do/did, rendering his dishonour and banishment effectively pointless, his actions are thoroughly understandable.
@@Aurora-313also isn’t lieutenant still a pretty huge position to be in? There isn’t a lot of them and they essentially act like secondary captains and lead half a company. They are still like third in line of authority only answering to the captain and chapter master, I’m pretty sure he’s equal rank to the chaplain.
@@piratekingluffy376 Oh yeah. Absolutely. In the company hierarchy, he's basically second in command. After being awarded the Laurels of Victory, he's basically got equal standing to a Captain with his pick of battlegear for any mission.
Dreadnought be like, you woke me to gift another??? There were twins in my dream, TWINS BATTLE SISTER I SAID
I bet Titus's new assignment is going to appear on the show Secret Level. I'm calling it now.
DLC missions next or Space Marine 3?
DLC and then another 10 years of waiting.
@@BlackGoId I wonder what's the next enemy Xenos Titus will encounter? Necrons? Eldar?
It’s the gaming moment of the decade. What could top it??
Such a goofy ending. "All for nothing! Nyahahahaha! HUUUHHH?? :OOO"
Crazy how titus heard the Emporor
Anyone else notice the glitched waist armor?
Yeah hope they patch that
Pfff. Malum Caedo would have soloed that.
Malum Caedo is wicked asf
I appreciate the support Big E
