Lol you guys open the box the hard way! Just cut the straps and the cardboard put lifts right up with the styrofoam hard base on the bottom ensuring your freezer is safe!

FYI: you bought an upright. A chest freezer is a wider chest that sits on floor and is usually not frost free.
