Great work on this video ! Lesser known ancient sites need to be filmed more often . This expands our picture of ancient Egypt and our understanding of it .
Love your content ✨ I've been fascinated with this civilization for most of my life so it's nice to have such quality research to learn more and more about these amazing people ✌️
Wonderful footage & learned narration, Irina. I consider your channel to be relatively large, & of course, I wish you further success to build upon an already impressive catalogue of superlative presentations - keep them coming ! Andrew 🙂
Wow! congrats on your work and thank you for bringing us such amazing places! I returned from Egypt 20 day ago and only saw the main temples and tombs. Your material is priceless!
Some really good sites... It's a shame about the Kom el-Hettàn site being shut off, hopefully in the future you will get to go in and get some better footage and more information. That one is definitely a go again for me, I'm sure you cant wait to get closer but it was good to see the statues. Thankyou AncientSitesGirl 🧡🧡🧡
Good work, love watching your videos, so interesting, you make me feel like I’m there with you, and nice to see places you wouldn’t normally get to see anywhere else, your the best channel on utube by far……….
Another wonderful episode Irena! As I've said before, it's truly amazing how much of the original colours survived! I also share your frustrations when you go to a site and there's a "Closed" sign. It also troubles me that certain site's are open...for the right $$$. Historical knowledge should be free for all of us. It's our shared history as a species. 🖖😎🤘🇨🇦❤️
there are so many monuments that some of them remain closed for practical reasons. tourists need to be serviced, monuments must be looked after, etc... besides, most tourists are not interested in lesser-known buildings, so it's unprofitable for the Egyptians. Thanks Colin!✌️

New subscriber- Wow, I feel like I’m watching a professional, documentary. You need your own show! I am trying to plan a trip to Egypt and I honestly would love to plan it myself and go to these temples that you are visiting and not just the busy tourist ones. I hope I can pull it off! Thanks for your helpful video
it just amazes me how much sites are available in egypt weve even never heard of, and jst abandoned closed or even not maintained at all, i really appreciate your work as you go off the beaten path and that can open doors for people to go to visit and create more tourism to these communities.
I am afraid that few tourists are interested in such places. Most go on one-day bus trips to the most famous buildings... and back to the pools ;) Thank you and best regards!
@@ancientsitesgirl im one person that now is interested to visit some of the sights that u displayed i havent seen in egypt before, the more ppl visit the more they share their experience, hopefully more visits in the future. needs some marketing and story telling and context for ppl to be interested.

Hi Irena! I stumbled upon your amazing videos showcasing the ancient sites in Egypt, and I must say, they are fantastic! Your knowledge and passion for the subject are evident, and I greatly admire your expertise. I'm in the process of starting a travel company that among other things focuses on exploring the incredible tombs of Luxor, and I would be thrilled if you could lend your guidance. I'm particularly interested in understanding which tombs in and around Luxor are the most remarkable and how to gain access to the closed ones. Your assistance would be invaluable, and I would be honored to collaborate with someone as knowledgeable as you. Looking forward to your response! Kind regards Romeo Oasis Adventures
I like to say thank you for your work that is much more than any of the regular contributors. Irena how many trips have you made to Egypt? How much time have you spent in any one of them? Because the job is fantastic and long. Where do you live? Your friend in Key West Ingrid Holm.
Thank you so much! I am Polish living in Germany. I have been in Egypt every year for 7 years. I try to spend as much time as possible in these places, it's not easy, they react nervously to the camera... sometimes, especially in Giza and Sakkara😉
Are you planning a trip out to the temple of Montu at El Tod, which is south of Luxor? Haven’t managed to get there myself yet so it would be interesting to see some video footage.

@@ancientsitesgirl Names are important. You may also consider "Ancient Sites Whisperer". I wasn't too happy with "Girl" because it sounded a little too immature for you. Back in the late 1990's a story called "The Horse Whisperer" was a very popular story in the U.S. and there were many offshoots from the name "Cat Whisperer" for example. I think in your case it gives your channel an air of mystery which is always present in history and in your presentations. ALL THE BEST
Well, I did notice that you did a great job overall but it’s one temple that I noticed you didn’t talk about that is from ancient ELIOPOLIS that great temple of a TUM that nobody talks about and I’m wondering why if it’s not standing Could you at least show where it used to be? Thank you.

Absolutely great video. But how can you walk along there without being surrounded by a Crowd of people, that whant to sell something? I could hardy enjoy my facation because of that
Thank you very much! 🥰 When were you in Egypt? In my opinion, the "selling situation" is changing for the better. Last time I was there, all I had to do was say "no, thank you" and they didn't insist. I also know that people react differently in different places. Giza is known as the worst, but when it comes to the West Bank of Luxor, it is really nice there and you can easily and peacefully 😁admire the wonderful ancient sites.
Hi, have you heard of "History with Kayleigh"? Shes a popular youtuber and her content is similar to yours, this is just a suggestion but maybe you can incorportate some of her elements to get more viewers and grow the channel, by using interesting facts and thumbnails instead of just tours. 3:12 Thank you 😊 Your video is very beautiful, but this so- called Temple of Isis is just ugly. The signs on the walls are ugly, anything but proper hieroglyphs. The Roman rulers, like the Macedonian ones before them, destroyed Ancient Egypt but used some elements to legitimise their usurpation. They destroyed even the Ancient mythology. What is Isis doing in the company of Amun? Maat does not have a consort. The scribes (in cahoots with the priests) destroyed Maat and had the utter shamelessness to invoke Her for their petty purposes. Seshat was the consort of Thoth.
