Have you ever noticed the similarity between Egyptian and Scythian mythology, the older Kurgans seems to have the same function as the pyramids, even the gods and goddess seem to be similar. They have a story how the sky god meets the earth goddess at the horizon, they created the other gods gods.
Herodotus relates eight deities the Scythians worshiped, though he says, except to Ares the Scythians had "no images, altars, or shrines" (4.59). Besides Hestia and Zeus, known by the Scythians as Tabitha and Papaeus, was Api (mother-earth), Goetosyrus (Apollo), and Argimpasa (Aphrodite). And though Herodotus omits their Scythian names, he also mentions Hercules, Ares, and Poseidon. Besides Hercules - the ultimate ancestor claimed by many ancient peoples - these gods represented elements with which the Scythians were familiar: Ares was associated with war, Apollo with the sun. The earth-meets-sky visual expressed itself in the belief that when the sky god, Papaeus, made union with Mother Earth, all other gods were born.
This might explain why they only find pyramids in the north and not the south, why the oldest mummies studied from Egypt were from the Levant area.

Indo-Europeans valued rather storm gods the most, which is not surprising since their religiosity was formed on the steppes. 😉

@@ancientsitesgirl The Scythians were an Iranian people. Iranian and Indo-Aryan languages make up the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. They inhabited an area consisting of Central Asia, the Eurasian Steppes, the Caucuses and north of the Black Sea. The Indo-Iranian languages and people are believed to have spread from the Eurasian steppes into Central Asia, South Asia, and the Iranian Plateau. These people are considered to be the Aryans. With the Scythian, Sarmatian, Alan, and Massagetae people inhabiting the vast Eurasian Steppes, many of the regions which today speak Slavic and Turkic languages were once Iranian. The Scythians/Sakas represent the original nomadic tribes of Central Asia.
I am a McCullough, if you believe in Foot Morphology, I have Egyptian feet too, the McCulloughs have traced their DNA back to the Black Sea area and Iazyges. Herodotus claimed Iazyges were the offspring of young Scythian warriors and Amazonian warrior women. According to historical records, the Scythian name for the Danube River was "Ister", the name McCullough means 'son of the hound of Ulster', the hound is seen as a warrior.
The Iazyges, a Sarmatian tribe, were sent to Britain by Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius, specifically to guard Hadrian's Wall, with around 5,500 cavalrymen (Knights in Armour" being deployed to the region following the Marcomannic Wars. The Danube River was the location of the Iazyges before Marcus Aurelius sent them 175CE. Galloway is were you find the first written records of the McCullough name.
A sword was stuck into the ground at the top of the kings Kurgan, having a legend of a boy who would pull it out a become king, much like the King Arthur story.

@@ancientsitesgirl Kurgans are generally considered to be older than pyramids; the earliest kurgans date back to the fourth millennium BC, while the Great Pyramid of Giza is typically dated to around 2600 BC, placing kurgans significantly earlier in time.

What remarkable about Atum is the words description "from whom all else arose", the Greeks who idolized the Egyptians coined the term Atom by philosopher Democritus 400bc a student of Egypt, RA sun God(light) over took Atum because Egyptian realized the sun was more productive, the birth of science.

Self education is critically important because you just choose what you like the most, driven by your inner part and stick to it. These teachings are critically important for the Africans to take note of.

second comment, a request, can you expound on the Ankh of Aknhen'Aton? the inverted Ankh, as seen in the family portrait. I use with great success but I don't "know" much about it nor do I "know" how I know about it, I don't remember past lives or anything like that, but I did have a strange occurrence when I stood before the death mask of Tutankhamen, I was fine before & after but I got violently sick, projectile vomiting on the floor before the Mask, the I ran away lol, I was 8 in the NYC museum.
