I feel like Thoughts and Prizes is the inevitable evolution of James's humour, an in joke so in that only he gets it. And he finds that hilarious, just confusing every single person over and over.
I think James got fed up of the shenanigans and nonsense and schemed to fill Maso with a burning rage with every video in the hopes that he would become the Joker
If you listen to the podcast in sequential order, you can hear his unraveling in real time 😂 The internet outrage over BvS, Captain Marvel and Ghostbusters were definitely contributing factors. I miss the H8 Mail segment.
Maso clearly needs to perform some action during the thoughts in order to win. I think he should start trying anything, like saying "the quick fox jumps over the lazy dog" in case he needs to say a certain letter, repeating James' thoughts but backwards, shouting "GREEN HARVEST", that kind of thing.
@@ZorrilloAlx pfft, James isn't going to make the solution so childishly facile as that. Maso will at the very least need to combine callbacks. Green Trivia + Blue Harvest = Green Harvest.
One day Mason will bring something insignificant as a prize for Thoughts and prizes. Seeing an out of the bit, James reveals that Maso is the winer of the physical prize, and the audience's prize is the joy of participation in the event (maybe even a hint for season 2 which James will use all his vetos on). Then the guy who shouts Rodney comes back at the end for 1 quick "Rodney' because the editors pity themselves and the viewers for having gone through this. I unironically love bit. You could use it for so many things, the potential is infinite, and because of this nothing will happen.
I honestly think it’s just a comedy bit that James came up with. I obviously have no evidence to back this up, but it’s just this nagging feeling I have.
My theory is that to win "thoughts and prizes" you need to say "thoughts and prizes" more times than James does in the segment. thoughts and prizes thoughts and prizes thoughts and prizes thoughts and prizes thoughts and prizes thoughts and prizes thoughts and prizes thoughts and prizes thoughts and prizes thoughts and prizes thoughts and prizes thoughts and prizes thoughts and prizes thoughts and prizes thoughts and prizes thoughts and prizes thoughts and prizes thoughts and prizes thoughts and prizes thoughts and prizes thoughts and prizes thoughts and prizes thoughts and prizes thoughts and prizes thoughts and prizes thoughts and prizes thoughts and prizes thoughts and prizes
I love that most of this channel's compilations can be boiled down to James trying to give Maso a mental breakdown
Pinely listens to the weekly planet?????? This is a momentous discovery

My biggest fear is that James stops this segment with no warning and we never get to see what the prizes were.
This will absolutely happen
you just predicted the future: he is a witch everyone 😮
Next time we’ll all get prizes for sure!
You definitely need to prepare yourself for this inevitability.
YOU WERE RIGHT (it seems that way as of right now. He seemed pretty intent on gaslighting Maso in the Alien CoG)
I used to think James was the "straight man" in the duo, and I now understand that they're both wild cards.
I think James got fed up of the shenanigans and nonsense and schemed to fill Maso with a burning rage with every video in the hopes that he would become the Joker
Two loose units!

@@CrowTRobot Don't forget Star Wars. And then of course, the peak of his derangement, the Souvlaki Hut Gorilla video
Wait, has Maso never won the prizes? I’ve been getting mine in the mail every week, talk about bad luck.
Same. Well not the first one. The sands of time one. But I've won every other time!
This segment has gotten me so hopeful. It better have a big prize at the very end, or I’ll be Distraught in Crisis

You could have said blue harvest but okay.

Thoughts and Prizes will never die.
The price is the Snake Eyes review.
“Hey everybody, I’ve got the apple that stops violence, whoa!”
Perhaps the real prizes were the thoughts we had along the way. But probably not.
The prize is something that Nick Mason would want, so I have to assume it’s a cool jacket or a fancy watch.
A gold-plaited tuxedo
The prizes are blu-ray copies of Joker, High Musical 2, and the clip of that guy shouting Rodney.
I put on Caravan of Garbage to help me go to sleep, so I’ve never experienced Thoughts and Prizes before. This was a genuine delight

Thank you for this compilation. Together we can crack how this segment is constructed and game the system!
There will be a huge payoff and we will all stand and applaud
I'm waiting for him to just forget and it never happens again
Thank you so much for this compilation. I think I spent hours listening to this today.
The real prize is friendship
The prize should be the return of Rodney
Thoughts and Prizes was the hardes I ever laughed for Caravan of Garbage.
Oh boy a clip show of a bit that's like two months old! THAT WAS THE PRIZE ALL ALONG! Thank you thank you thank you!
I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure all Maso has to do to win a prize is share a thought
This was the prize, I'm 99% sure
Give us some official “but it’s Joker” compilations 😂
Some of those temu orders take forever. I trust James on this.
The prize was gaining the knowledge of James’ thoughts. We’re all winners at the weekly planet
The real prizes were the thoughts we made along the way.
End of an era?.... well end of something for sure
5:35 Oh my goodness i just connected this to that video of Little James
I heard the prize is a signed photo of Rodney
Gaslight Professional
I honestly think it’s just a comedy bit that James came up with.

You’re off your rocker, mate!
He confirmed that there are indeed prizes though, and we have heard his thoughts
Send him to jail he's falsely accusing a hero of something so villainous
The real prizes were the thoughts we had along the way.
Guys I think the real prizes were the friends we made along the way
you win!... a tuft of koala fur, or a selfie.
Maybe the prizes were the thoughts we made along the way
And just think...
I used to look forward to a H8 mail segment.
We'll win it one day boys.
I’m just here to collect my prize because I had a thought.
I feel like I'm stuck in a classroom.
