Once again showing how it's done! Man, you're killing me! I replaced this great pedal with a Jetter Red Square on my board because of you and now you show how much there still left to explore with the Blue! Along with the Bogner vid this is THE best display of this pedals capabilities. Maybe the best. You've outdone yourself! Thanks for this awesome vid! Oh, and I guess for the Jetter vid too...(dang it) ...:)
Great sounding pedal, just picked one up. A predominant thing to note, the boost feature does NOT roll back to 0 dB at minimum gain and volume boost settings (the little knobs that light up when boost is pressed), so this pedal can NOT be used as a portable two channel amp pedal because of the huge jump in volume when switching from ON with low gain (clean) to BOOST. Kind of a bummer because both the Red Ecstasy and Black Uberschall can provide unity volume gain in boost mode (at the minimum setting) which allows for very delicate adjustments. This video does not reveal the volume shift problem (studio editing perhaps, or compression), so I thought I'd shed light on it for other folks before they go in on it like I did.
That will be work! You have this option only in the Blue Mode. Than put Volume at the litte Knob all the way down. In the plexi Mode thats right, there will be a Volume jump ;-)
lpgoog Are you sure it's MIDI? I think it says 'Remote', and uses a 1/4" jack, Tip Sleeve or Tip Ring Sleeve, aka 1 or 2 pin connection. MIDI uses DIN connectors, which uses at least 4 or 5 pins. It's been a while since I've looked at the pinout but check your references before you go in on one and find out by surprise there is no MIDI. That can be devastating depending on your motivations.
I can identify this player from his first note. He makes every botique amp and pedal sound like a dumble SSS. The famous JM so revered by Mellinneals can't even do that with his real dumbles. What does that tell you?
Great video! I've watched several demos of this pedal and your's was, by far, the best one. Now, I REALLY want one of these!
Your guitars have the coolest colors.
Thanks!

Thanks for the info. I was seriously looking to get this pedal but that is a total deal breaker for me. Good to know.

Is it more like an amp in a box?
So how did you like the pedal Mike? you played many. I run mine with the new 68 twin its awesome. Boost on! 2 damaged fingers and still rockin:)
I think it's awesome. Killer tones and feel

You are amazing.but no more barbeques.

What happened to your fingers?
Great playing still, as always!
I grabbed the wrong end of a soldering iron while rewiring a guitar... ouch!
PrymaxeVintage Oh snap. Not cool.
Anyone know how the midi control input in the middle works? I'm using a T.C. NOVA system in conjunction with the BLUE and several other stomp boxes.
