One thing to note about rhino stomp is that it even affects overguarded enemies. They still move but the slow effect rhino stomp inflicts affects them fully. Also if you mod for max range, you can lock down any arena-esque map with stomp. It’s super good on interception missions and mirror defense.
The thing is, 190 rage already goves rhino 48m of ult range and tgat's OP. I play shieldgate cc support rhino with nourish. Done easy 3h survival with corrosive status on corpus😅

Just so you know, Armor and Strength increase iron skin's base amount, but they dont increase the incoming damage conversion at all. So, your armor mods and shards say: turn a base 5k iron skin into 12k iron skin. And then if you receive 100k damage during the startup, that just totals to 112k. Which... isn't proportionally a lot more than 105k with 0 armor mods and shards. Strength is still important for Roar, but armor is irrelevant to Rhino's scaling. It only increases the tiny base amount. So, i think Augur Reach is more relevant than Umbral Fiber. It'll increase your stomp and buff radius by quite a lot, going from 145 to 175 range. Or, equilibrium/energy nexus for energy economy. And instead of armor shards, a parkour shard and casting speed shard make him incredibly comfy.
True, but it also depends on what kind of content u r playing in. If u r playing in base SP or lower, then fiber is more than enough w that 12k base value, and if u r going to level cap, as u said, fiber doesnt do much, but it wont hinder anything and u will still get millions of IR value. Idk abt u, but I also just use umbral fiber n intensify for a casual rhino build that I can take anywhere. It s all up to preference, this build is more comfy for lower lvl stuff and offers more str, while ur build offers more range
i copied the build almost to a T, but i changed one of the archon shards to a violet to give primary electricity dmg, then you can put high voltage on the torid instead of stormbringer and get a higher stat chance and have the same amount of dmg
You dont need to use that much forma, he tests all kinds of builds so he formas his frames a lot. You only need the minimum amount to fit all the mods you need.
You still need 6 Forma and an Umbral Forma. Kinda rough imo. You can sub out Umbral Fiber for the standard Fiber though or just aug Secrets to make up from the str loss you would have for not having another Umbral mod I would say the Fiber route is better. You would lose some overguard, Damage mitigation, and some str for roar, but not not too much. I would still much rather use my limited Umbral Forma if I was a newer player on a Chroma setup for Profit Taker, or a Volt setup for Eidolons. I cannot remember other than that what I have spent mine on other than on my Excal's Blade or wasting them on the "umbral builds" that everyone went when the mods first dropped even though they are terrible and a waste of Umbral Forma.
little bit of advice for rhinos trying to get more out of this ditch reinforcing stomp this will allow you to focus more on duration but you may be thinking what about my iron skin health just press 2 again shield gating on rhino gives him enough time to be invincible to get off an ironskin again forever but now your thinking energy you already have nourish on but thats annoying so you do you hes still the goat either way
At first I thought subsuming charge for nourish was stupid because you cant run ironclad charge, but thanks to NovaUmbral's video I see the way. Great build as always.
Notice that arcane avenger and Nourish(the part when u procs enemies when they r attacking u) does not work cuz u have Iron skin all the time, they just work when your health take dmg.
As a rhino main I’ve being doing a similar build for a while. I don’t use any augments and just do a gating build with his 2 and rolling guard. When the 2 breaks, overguard gate, shield gate, rolling guard and when you press 2 again you have 3 seconds of immunity. Doing this gives you so much more mod flexibility and you get stupid strength and duration. I also use nourish because with energy nexus you can use blind rage and be fine, but if you didn’t want to just use nourish on everything you could literally use any Helminth you just would have less strength without blind rage. You can’t die and the 3 and nourish are insane damage and the 4 is still good with neutral range. Also, I can’t wait to try a shock trooper build with Xoris and melee influence because shock trooper and roar together would make electric procs do stupid damage I just don’t have the Xoris yet but I’m very excited to try this
I prefer subsuming Hildryn’s Parasitic Armour over stomp to increase armour from shields, operator Magus Anomaly to group enemies & finally use the Ironclad Charge augment. Easy 100k+ ferrite armour in just 3 button presses. Throw on archon shards for more armour/shields to really boost it. 👍
That was the older build pretty much, big fat iron skin. And at that point one might just play Revenant with Roar :) For full on lazy mode, I would still pick Rev, but Roar + Nourish + 2 green shards is downright disgusting, especially with wpns like Ocucor.
Bruh, he said u can replace p flow w blue shards in the vid. Also, using only 1 is kinda cutting it close imo. With blind rage 1 stomp is like 160 energy, I d rather not have a 225 energy pool
I replaced primed flow with energy nexus and 1 blue shard for energy. That with a very high power strength you getting an insane amount of energy regen.
That's actually a nice build. Too costly for 80% of ppl tho. Like Jesus... 2 green shards, 2 umbra formas. madurai tree unlocked. yeah not a "build for everyone". I don't call that "confortable". That's some end-game build here. His iron skin augment needs to become his base ability. It's just super fun to use as a "boom you go flying, and you too, same to the other guy right there". Still need to check what are the new shards and how they're working.

Anytime I have to void sling or anything like that I'm immediately out and stop the video. I just want to have to use one of two abilities to run and gun, not build up stacks or do 3 other things immediately to make the build effective.
I have a similar build but use Parasitic Armor (Helminth Ability) with Primed Redirection to get a huge iron skin buff at the beginning of the mission and then just use reinforcing stomp to continuously refresh my iron skin without having to frequently recast it.
thanks for the video. i been back on warframe for a week now, not played it in over a couple of years i got around 350hours gameplay. A really good ad on weapon off the wheel is been able to use a archwing weapon on foot. Take a while to unlock i think you do that on mercury what i remember.
as rhino main, honestly... this is a very good build! I would swap out avenger for energize and use other useful helminth to stay away from the meta, but that's just my preference. obviously this is more effective
Cool I didn't know his mesmer skin also benefits from armor. I thought it was only strength. But it's good to know now. And the overguard makes the use of rolling guard useless, since it also protects you against stats effects.
While true its what, 1 maybe 2 more targets. With torid after 1st target it deals less and less damage for each targets in the chain. Firestorm isn't worth it
To answer most of these complaints on his behalf to the whiners: -You only need ONE UMBRAL FORMA -Replace Avenger if you don't have it, it is NOT NEEDED AT ALL -Green shards aren't expensive, you're just broke. - You don't need the duration OR the Armor shards, they are just nice. -If you're struggling with energy, consider these changes: Swap Avenger for Molt Efficiency | Swap Transient Fortitude for Equilibrium | Use Mystic and/or Seismic Bond on companion This build is good. Those changes can make it MUCH more forgiving for 90% of content. I used those changes and placed a single Tau Strength Shard for some of the missing strength.
Most players dont have access to Helminth, or the needed frame for the helminth, most players dont have access to Umbra Forma, its a 8week rotation with Steel Path currency, or Nightwave lv30. Archon Shards are again, end game content. Im imagining some mr3 fella building his first Rhino and running into this content to understand the game. You dont need to flex or anything, there are plenty of us who would put you to shame anyway. Keep it humble tenno.
Oh wow had a slightly different build rolling guard inatead of umbral steel i believe is what its called and instead of avenger it was energize as for shards i had 2 tau forged casting speed bc i was like might as well and 3 tau forged 15% strength shards
I've been running with rhino since I got him because he prevents self stagger from my volatile rebound xoris. I have revenant prime just sitting in built because of my lack of slots, but I like rhinos look more so all things being equal, I'm probably play him instead long term.
unfortunately, since i love rhino, revenant is lightyears beyond in terms of survivability that 16k absorb will last 2sec in sp in 500lvl+ you find that out quickly in sp circuit and i can pull off a 150ish % roar on revenant aswell
@@albval7778You can use the 3 secs damage absorption when activating the iron skin. And since your 500 lvl enemies do alot of damage if it gets converted to iron skin, you'll get, essentially, alot of overguard (someone got up to 20 billion overguard with it) that can be replenished entirely if you activate stromp with the augment "reinforced stromp" and with 25 ennemies are around (4% recharge for each ennemie, meaning 25*4= 100% recharge of iron skin). Which is more convenient than using enthrall and then reave which is a whole process when rhino can do all that in a single button. Edit: Revenant gets a nerfed roar without a nourish and no CC (that even affects the eximus mind you).
@@albval7778 Oh, I'm sure I'll run into a wall with rhino as some point, but I'm not even at steel path yet. I'm saving warframe slots for when I hit content that rhino can't handle so I can grab someone like revenant out of built. I've stock piled about 5 built frames that I don't have slots at the moment. So I'm not pulling out frames until I actually need them.
@@wy100101ironskin adapt to enemy damage, what do you mean? In Sp you'll meet more than 40 enemies per second they'll eat your mesmer skin like nothing.

I use this all the time by intentionally putting myself in a position to take a ton of damage and casting iron skin, and I know people get million+ iron skins by modding for it. Not saying it is worth leaning that heavily into it. I'm just saying it is probably doable.
I use your build as a base, and when with growing power, power drift umbral fiber umbral intensifies blind rage, primed continuity, augur secrets, transient fortitude, primed flow, reinforcing stomp, molt augmented and molt vigor, two power strength shards, and three armor shards. got 364% power base then got growing power on top plus molt vigor and molt augmented as well is mega fun. I dont own magus pull arcane, or I would swap out reinforcing stomp with ironclad charge, then put nourish on 4th. So I could have both worlds tanky as heck with insane damage. but would be future idea i gonna do

I did end up using magus anomaly and put nourish on the 4th ability with 20 enemies hit, which is 291k, but the 2nd build uses parasitic armor on the 4th instead of nourish, which hits 884802. but that just using abilities isn't stacking anything. If you kill enemies and stack molt augmented, you can easily double that on both. If you got max rank on both arcanes, I'm sure that would be too much over armor at that point. so like 120 kills with molt augmented, not max stacks, is 1003514, one million that with parasitic build. But for the other one, my guess would be around 600k with 120 stacks. I am not the best math person; just guess for that one. with max stacks for sure million easy on nourish one but parasitic easy way cheaper build hit million. but i enjoy nourish more just takes bit get max gain cause got stack kills with arcane. but my arcanes rank 1 so that low numbers if got them max you be way higher then me
So, I’m just checking the math here with the stats at 1:55, but the first “example” they used for the faction mods bonus, based on their math, states that it hits at 165dmg. But when I do that math, I get 195. Am I calculating it wrong some how, or did they calculate it wrong themselves and just never realized it to correct their mistake?

This is not new player friendly, and for the effort it really does need to be very comfortable, which then makes you think at end game there are better builds and for casual play, it’s way to much effort. Plz consider coaction drift as it’s a 30% bonus for you and a 15% bonus for team mates means growing power is going to be juiced instead of the flat 15% that power drift gives

I've been a Rhino main for literal years at this point, mostly because I was too scared/lazy to try out other Warframes lol. But I always use him whenever I want to feel invincible and rack up hundreds of thousands of armor.
I have a lot of hate for warframe, too many years, the grind, the lazy updates, but in the end I have 6200 hours, I didnt care much about warframe youtubers, only the funny ones, like better name pending, quite shallow and similar. But the pasion you have doing these videos really makes my day, its the only warframe channel that I check for for the content instead of just the info. Keep it up.

But my problem comes to the updates, archwing, 8 nodes in the whole solar system Open world, for 4 people Remove raids and dont give a replacement many visual bugs, kavat bug never aligned properly, many frame skins have issues with cosmetics, but mesa prime ass was instantly hotfixed. adding content that makes no sense and doesnt add to the full gameplay, for example, freaking dective game, searching for hours for random item to defeat the crystal guy that lasted 10 min, duviri, a whole new game with his own mechanics literally add zero content or features to the main game, if only parry and rolling was aviable outside for example... literally 1 hour mission every 6 months *Perma-Beta* Elden ring (ignoring the fact that is made by a multimillionarie company) has tons of issues, repeated enemies, old mechanics, bugs, etc, but nobody can say its a bad game. Can you say the same for warframe? is even possible for a casual person to beat the tutorial without help in less than a week? I literally blocked my progress on archwing because I got a prime part of odonata and I didnt know what was happening, until months later I sent a ticket and weeks later it was fixed. As I said, I may have burnt the game, and even with how little content this update added, its like a dream for me, some interesting content, with interesting new enemies, new mechanics useful for new and old players, not some random thing to use and forget, and many other things, nothing like freaking duviri or circuit... My problem that got me banned in another account was how lazy are the creators, much comunity, much talking, nice 10th remake of energy lighting, but please, can you add actual useful things and sooner? The 10th year anniversary was literally a joke,a skin a few boosters and there you go, its really cool to have 7 dex excalibur skins and 14 slots or 21 thanks to giving the exact same 3 dex weaponse very year. TL;DR the game is incredible in many aspects, the problem is how lazy the devs are and how they dont care to give a full update experiment as a full update, and forget about it the next month if people doesnt like it.

@@lucasgorzizadasilva540 in the time stamps go to "SP Demo". Right at the start of that part Knightmare shoots an enemy and then gets out of his frame into his operator and uses Void Sling twice (short teleport) it's part of the set up of getting your buffs etc going on this build.
This is a min max strat and really not necessary for most levels of gameplay. A good substitute would be zenurik to make the energy even less of an issue as well as the 20% strength if you need it.

I don't know why but sometimes I see big Damage Numbers specifically when Dispatching Thrax Enemies in Ghost Form... I used to Assume it was because of Viral but I've seen it Happening without Viral. 🤔
I love rhino and his kit but it can be better.... For example, the energy pool to be higher and the reinforsing stomp to reduce the enemy defense by 50% as an crowd control and armor or shields stripping so it will make the rhino sooo powerful offensive and buffing frame. 😅
faction mods doesn't have problems to use, they need to be replaced after every mission, or else you're changing the loadout or the mission type/faction ...it's just a pain :(

That goes for every warframe, it isn't only received to rhino. And honestly, if you achieve millions of iron skin with high lvl enemies, you'll have no issues getting it back again.

Using the dash augment twice, void slinging a couple of times to group up enemies using archgun equip and disBle? The augment replaces a mod, the archgun is an arcane etc. All that effort for me is just too tedious compared to a 1 button done it all or rather my build being solely focused on iron skin because i'm sacrificing range amd duration probably so roar is manageable but my stomp is completely negligible for the most part you could argue this build requires to subsume stomp for something else but that would take resources and again tedious sht, so overall i always prefer a general use build.and i see this million iron skin tech as more of a niche build than practical
@@Mezha07 That's the old and tedious way, ironclad is very much inferior to mesmer skin I agree, but what I was talking about is the 3 secs of damage absorption when you activate iron skin. What I'm saying is, if the enemies do 1mil damage and you absorb that, you'll get 1mil ironskin (and a bit more since it also scales with ability strength and total armor). Your ironskin adapts to the damage of your enemies, just stand still for these three seconds and then use the reinforced stromp augment to CC and get some ironskin back. Sure it isn't a single button but you don't have to use the ironclad tactic anymore.

you'll be able to survive just as well, with less thought, with that setup definitely. but rhino has scaling survivability with his 2's incoming damage conversion too, so if you just heal it with reinforcing stomp every so often, rhino scales to level cap too. you'll need to press 4 more often than revenant presses 2, but it's not _too_ inconvenient especially when you consider rhino's other advantages over revenant. the rhino setup will do more damage since he can run nourish to have corrosive shard stripping PLUS viral, PLUS undiminished roar which is nearly twice as strong as the helminth one (which is even stronger than it sounds when you consider that it double dips on DOTs). plus, both nourish and roar are going to the team so you're buffing their damage and energy sustain way more than the revenant. plus, rhino stomp is a base 25m 97.5% slow that has no line of sight requirements and is one of very very few crowd control options which can penetrate overguard. extremely useful for level cap circuit defence where the enemies can 1 or 2 shot the pod or excavators.
revenant is super boring and wack bro lol he’s technically a greedy boring frame where you mostly just spam is 2 for survivability you can use his 1 and 3 sure but it’s nothing like freezing an entire battle field with just a stomp and also boosting the damage to your weapons significantly and the helminth roar is trash compared to the regular one so no not solved “easy peasy” 😂😂😂 also how are you gonna use both nourish and roar on revenant ? 🤣😭

Imagine it like the most/least racist ability possible. If you know how faction mods work on your weapons then roar works like a single faction mod that works against any faction (corpus, grineer, infested ect...) Making it the most racist ability since it hates every enemy faction but also the least racist since it hates them all equally.
Rhino Prime is an old frame. I have him since its release, back in 2014. I never played him as much so I didn't have to change him or experiment with him, but a youtuber or a Rhino main will change his mods from time to time, and some builds end up being too different that you have to forma again.

Ofc rhino dont need PSF, but its not waste of space on every warframe. You need it if you play aoe weapons and if you dont have warframe which can be invulnarable to self stagger effect
It depends on whether you value Revenant's absolute invulnerability or Rhino's superior damage more. There isn't really a correct answer. Honestly, it doesn't matter. Rhino has so much tankiness, and Revenant can be built to have so much damage that they are functionally interchangeable.
Personally I would still pick Rev above Rhino most of the time, in no small part due to Mesmer augment, which was the last thing he needed, but here we are, thx DE :D Nourish + Roar combo is downright disgusting tho.
@@andrewphoto4750 that's valid, my build is very similar but i have no blind rage, it's not needed along with the blue shards, and even then with neutral efficiency i have some hiccups with energy, unless you're running deathcube or popping energy packs this doesnt seem as consistent, also you dont need avenger, just put on molt efficiency or something.

On top of that iron skin is literally 100% dr warding halo, at levelcap literally just take some damage form enemies, stomp and bam, you have 20mill and you can tank hits like your revenant. You are so obsessed with big numbers that you forget that you only need a big enough number. Also If you want to compare Gauss to Rhino Gauss doesint always retain the 100% dr, is vulnerable to some damage types, can be obnoxious to play, his buffs are arguably worse, he has worse energy economy and he has less utility. Gauss still has a lot going for him but as far as lazy weapon platforms go rhino takes the edge, arguably.

I went full str and dur with my rhino 220% roar for 72 seconds is very nice along with 72 nourish. I use energy nexus instead of primed flow.
i copied the build almost to a T, but i changed one of the archon shards to a violet to give primary electricity dmg, then you can put high voltage on the torid instead of stormbringer and get a higher stat chance and have the same amount of dmg
Changing Nourish from a toxin mod to a viral AOE was their way of saying, " Okay. Here. Viral meta. Off you go. "
Simple build; only 2 umbra forma and 8 normal forma
You dont need to use that much forma, he tests all kinds of builds so he formas his frames a lot. You only need the minimum amount to fit all the mods you need.
You still need 6 Forma and an Umbral Forma. Kinda rough imo. You can sub out Umbral Fiber for the standard Fiber though or just aug Secrets to make up from the str loss you would have for not having another Umbral mod I would say the Fiber route is better. You would lose some overguard, Damage mitigation, and some str for roar, but not not too much.
I would still much rather use my limited Umbral Forma if I was a newer player on a Chroma setup for Profit Taker, or a Volt setup for Eidolons. I cannot remember other than that what I have spent mine on other than on my Excal's Blade or wasting them on the "umbral builds" that everyone went when the mods first dropped even though they are terrible and a waste of Umbral Forma.

little bit of advice for rhinos trying to get more out of this ditch reinforcing stomp this will allow you to focus more on duration but you may be thinking what about my iron skin health just press 2 again shield gating on rhino gives him enough time to be invincible to get off an ironskin again forever but now your thinking energy you already have nourish on but thats annoying so you do you hes still the goat either way
At first I thought subsuming charge for nourish was stupid because you cant run ironclad charge, but thanks to NovaUmbral's video I see the way. Great build as always.
Notice that arcane avenger and Nourish(the part when u procs enemies when they r attacking u) does not work cuz u have Iron skin all the time, they just work when your health take dmg.
As a rhino main I’ve being doing a similar build for a while. I don’t use any augments and just do a gating build with his 2 and rolling guard. When the 2 breaks, overguard gate, shield gate, rolling guard and when you press 2 again you have 3 seconds of immunity. Doing this gives you so much more mod flexibility and you get stupid strength and duration. I also use nourish because with energy nexus you can use blind rage and be fine, but if you didn’t want to just use nourish on everything you could literally use any Helminth you just would have less strength without blind rage. You can’t die and the 3 and nourish are insane damage and the 4 is still good with neutral range.
Also, I can’t wait to try a shock trooper build with Xoris and melee influence because shock trooper and roar together would make electric procs do stupid damage I just don’t have the Xoris yet but I’m very excited to try this

I prefer subsuming Hildryn’s Parasitic Armour over stomp to increase armour from shields, operator Magus Anomaly to group enemies & finally use the Ironclad Charge augment.
Easy 100k+ ferrite armour in just 3 button presses.
Throw on archon shards for more armour/shields to really boost it. 👍

That was the older build pretty much, big fat iron skin. And at that point one might just play Revenant with Roar :) For full on lazy mode, I would still pick Rev, but Roar + Nourish + 2 green shards is downright disgusting, especially with wpns like Ocucor.

Primed flow can easely be squashed for something else if you put 1 blue shard 75 energy, with nourish it's more than enough

I replaced primed flow with energy nexus and 1 blue shard for energy. That with a very high power strength you getting an insane amount of energy regen.

His iron skin augment needs to become his base ability. It's just super fun to use as a "boom you go flying, and you too, same to the other guy right there".

Anytime I have to void sling or anything like that I'm immediately out and stop the video. I just want to have to use one of two abilities to run and gun, not build up stacks or do 3 other things immediately to make the build effective.

I have a similar build but use Parasitic Armor (Helminth Ability) with Primed Redirection to get a huge iron skin buff at the beginning of the mission and then just use reinforcing stomp to continuously refresh my iron skin without having to frequently recast it.
thanks for the video. i been back on warframe for a week now, not played it in over a couple of years i got around 350hours gameplay. A really good ad on weapon off the wheel is been able to use a archwing weapon on foot. Take a while to unlock i think you do that on mercury what i remember.
as rhino main, honestly... this is a very good build! I would swap out avenger for energize and use other useful helminth to stay away from the meta, but that's just my preference. obviously this is more effective

Cool I didn't know his mesmer skin also benefits from armor. I thought it was only strength. But it's good to know now. And the overguard makes the use of rolling guard useless, since it also protects you against stats effects.

To answer most of these complaints on his behalf to the whiners:
-You only need ONE UMBRAL FORMA
-Replace Avenger if you don't have it, it is NOT NEEDED AT ALL
-Green shards aren't expensive, you're just broke.
- You don't need the duration OR the Armor shards, they are just nice.
-If you're struggling with energy, consider these changes:
Swap Avenger for Molt Efficiency | Swap Transient Fortitude for Equilibrium | Use Mystic and/or Seismic Bond on companion
This build is good. Those changes can make it MUCH more forgiving for 90% of content. I used those changes and placed a single Tau Strength Shard for some of the missing strength.

Most players dont have access to Helminth, or the needed frame for the helminth, most players dont have access to Umbra Forma, its a 8week rotation with Steel Path currency, or Nightwave lv30. Archon Shards are again, end game content. Im imagining some mr3 fella building his first Rhino and running into this content to understand the game. You dont need to flex or anything, there are plenty of us who would put you to shame anyway. Keep it humble tenno.

All Different Damage Multipliers can be Considered "Seperate". 👀
arachne is a universal weapon damage multiplier (like holster amp). it's bonus is additive to serration.

Oh wow had a slightly different build rolling guard inatead of umbral steel i believe is what its called and instead of avenger it was energize as for shards i had 2 tau forged casting speed bc i was like might as well and 3 tau forged 15% strength shards
I've been running with rhino since I got him because he prevents self stagger from my volatile rebound xoris. I have revenant prime just sitting in built because of my lack of slots, but I like rhinos look more so all things being equal, I'm probably play him instead long term.
unfortunately, since i love rhino, revenant is lightyears beyond in terms of survivability that 16k absorb will last 2sec in sp in 500lvl+ you find that out quickly in sp circuit and i can pull off a 150ish % roar on revenant aswell
@@albval7778You can use the 3 secs damage absorption when activating the iron skin.
And since your 500 lvl enemies do alot of damage if it gets converted to iron skin, you'll get, essentially, alot of overguard (someone got up to 20 billion overguard with it) that can be replenished entirely if you activate stromp with the augment "reinforced stromp" and with 25 ennemies are around (4% recharge for each ennemie, meaning 25*4= 100% recharge of iron skin).
Which is more convenient than using enthrall and then reave which is a whole process when rhino can do all that in a single button.
Edit: Revenant gets a nerfed roar without a nourish and no CC (that even affects the eximus mind you).

I'm saving warframe slots for when I hit content that rhino can't handle so I can grab someone like revenant out of built. I've stock piled about 5 built frames that I don't have slots at the moment. So I'm not pulling out frames until I actually need them.

In Sp you'll meet more than 40 enemies per second they'll eat your mesmer skin like nothing.

I use this all the time by intentionally putting myself in a position to take a ton of damage and casting iron skin, and I know people get million+ iron skins by modding for it.
Not saying it is worth leaning that heavily into it. I'm just saying it is probably doable.
I use your build as a base, and when with growing power, power drift umbral fiber umbral intensifies blind rage, primed continuity, augur secrets, transient fortitude, primed flow, reinforcing stomp, molt augmented and molt vigor, two power strength shards, and three armor shards. got 364% power base then got growing power on top plus molt vigor and molt augmented as well is mega fun. I dont own magus pull arcane, or I would swap out reinforcing stomp with ironclad charge, then put nourish on 4th. So I could have both worlds tanky as heck with insane damage. but would be future idea i gonna do

I did end up using magus anomaly and put nourish on the 4th ability with 20 enemies hit, which is 291k, but the 2nd build uses parasitic armor on the 4th instead of nourish, which hits 884802. but that just using abilities isn't stacking anything. If you kill enemies and stack molt augmented, you can easily double that on both. If you got max rank on both arcanes, I'm sure that would be too much over armor at that point. so like 120 kills with molt augmented, not max stacks, is 1003514, one million that with parasitic build. But for the other one, my guess would be around 600k with 120 stacks. I am not the best math person; just guess for that one. with max stacks for sure million easy on nourish one but parasitic easy way cheaper build hit million. but i enjoy nourish more just takes bit get max gain cause got stack kills with arcane. but my arcanes rank 1 so that low numbers if got them max you be way higher then me

So, I’m just checking the math here with the stats at 1:55, but the first “example” they used for the faction mods bonus, based on their math, states that it hits at 165dmg. But when I do that math, I get 195. Am I calculating it wrong some how, or did they calculate it wrong themselves and just never realized it to correct their mistake?

Plz consider coaction drift as it’s a 30% bonus for you and a 15% bonus for team mates means growing power is going to be juiced instead of the flat 15% that power drift gives
It only boosts growing power to 33.06 extra strength so power drift would still be better as its 15% over the extra 8.06%.
Rhino is a better weapons platform but Revenant is tankier.

I literally blocked my progress on archwing because I got a prime part of odonata and I didnt know what was happening, until months later I sent a ticket and weeks later it was fixed.
As I said, I may have burnt the game, and even with how little content this update added, its like a dream for me, some interesting content, with interesting new enemies, new mechanics useful for new and old players, not some random thing to use and forget, and many other things, nothing like freaking duviri or circuit...
My problem that got me banned in another account was how lazy are the creators, much comunity, much talking, nice 10th remake of energy lighting, but please, can you add actual useful things and sooner?
The 10th year anniversary was literally a joke,a skin a few boosters and there you go, its really cool to have 7 dex excalibur skins and 14 slots or 21 thanks to giving the exact same 3 dex weaponse very year.
TL;DR the game is incredible in many aspects, the problem is how lazy the devs are and how they dont care to give a full update experiment as a full update, and forget about it the next month if people doesnt like it.

@@lucasgorzizadasilva540 in the time stamps go to "SP Demo". Right at the start of that part Knightmare shoots an enemy and then gets out of his frame into his operator and uses Void Sling twice (short teleport) it's part of the set up of getting your buffs etc going on this build.
This is a min max strat and really not necessary for most levels of gameplay. A good substitute would be zenurik to make the energy even less of an issue as well as the 20% strength if you need it.

For example, the energy pool to be higher and the reinforsing stomp to reduce the enemy defense by 50% as an crowd control and armor or shields stripping so it will make the rhino sooo powerful offensive and buffing frame. 😅

Using the dash augment twice, void slinging a couple of times to group up enemies using archgun equip and disBle? The augment replaces a mod, the archgun is an arcane etc. All that effort for me is just too tedious compared to a 1 button done it all or rather my build being solely focused on iron skin because i'm sacrificing range amd duration probably so roar is manageable but my stomp is completely negligible for the most part you could argue this build requires to subsume stomp for something else but that would take resources and again tedious sht, so overall i always prefer a general use build.and i see this million iron skin tech as more of a niche build than practical
@@Mezha07 That's the old and tedious way, ironclad is very much inferior to mesmer skin I agree, but what I was talking about is the 3 secs of damage absorption when you activate iron skin.
What I'm saying is, if the enemies do 1mil damage and you absorb that, you'll get 1mil ironskin (and a bit more since it also scales with ability strength and total armor).
Your ironskin adapts to the damage of your enemies, just stand still for these three seconds and then use the reinforced stromp augment to CC and get some ironskin back.
Sure it isn't a single button but you don't have to use the ironclad tactic anymore.

you'll be able to survive just as well, with less thought, with that setup definitely.
but rhino has scaling survivability with his 2's incoming damage conversion too, so if you just heal it with reinforcing stomp every so often, rhino scales to level cap too. you'll need to press 4 more often than revenant presses 2, but it's not _too_ inconvenient especially when you consider rhino's other advantages over revenant.
the rhino setup will do more damage since he can run nourish to have corrosive shard stripping PLUS viral, PLUS undiminished roar which is nearly twice as strong as the helminth one (which is even stronger than it sounds when you consider that it double dips on DOTs).
plus, both nourish and roar are going to the team so you're buffing their damage and energy sustain way more than the revenant.
plus, rhino stomp is a base 25m 97.5% slow that has no line of sight requirements and is one of very very few crowd control options which can penetrate overguard. extremely useful for level cap circuit defence where the enemies can 1 or 2 shot the pod or excavators.
revenant is super boring and wack bro lol he’s technically a greedy boring frame where you mostly just spam is 2 for survivability you can use his 1 and 3 sure but it’s nothing like freezing an entire battle field with just a stomp and also boosting the damage to your weapons significantly and the helminth roar is trash compared to the regular one so no not solved “easy peasy” 😂😂😂 also how are you gonna use both nourish and roar on revenant ? 🤣😭
The funniest thing is. When it comes to make lists knightmare shits on rhino and puts revenant up there. Now he is actually seeing advantages of having rhino over revenant.

If you know how faction mods work on your weapons then roar works like a single faction mod that works against any faction (corpus, grineer, infested ect...) Making it the most racist ability since it hates every enemy faction but also the least racist since it hates them all equally.

Rhino Prime is an old frame. I have him since its release, back in 2014. I never played him as much so I didn't have to change him or experiment with him, but a youtuber or a Rhino main will change his mods from time to time, and some builds end up being too different that you have to forma again.

Ofc rhino dont need PSF, but its not waste of space on every warframe. You need it if you play aoe weapons and if you dont have warframe which can be invulnarable to self stagger effect

It depends on whether you value Revenant's absolute invulnerability or Rhino's superior damage more.

Honestly, it doesn't matter. Rhino has so much tankiness, and Revenant can be built to have so much damage that they are functionally interchangeable.

Personally I would still pick Rev above Rhino most of the time, in no small part due to Mesmer augment, which was the last thing he needed, but here we are, thx DE :D Nourish + Roar combo is downright disgusting tho.

@@andrewphoto4750 that's valid, my build is very similar but i have no blind rage, it's not needed along with the blue shards, and even then with neutral efficiency i have some hiccups with energy, unless you're running deathcube or popping energy packs this doesnt seem as consistent, also you dont need avenger, just put on molt efficiency or something.
@@andrewphoto4750 15k is literally enough. Hell, 6k is EASILY enough for anything that isint levelcap. BRO LOOK AT THE GAMEPLAY. On top of that iron skin is literally 100% dr warding halo, at levelcap literally just take some damage form enemies, stomp and bam, you have 20mill and you can tank hits like your revenant. You are so obsessed with big numbers that you forget that you only need a big enough number. Also If you want to compare Gauss to Rhino Gauss doesint always retain the 100% dr, is vulnerable to some damage types, can be obnoxious to play, his buffs are arguably worse, he has worse energy economy and he has less utility. Gauss still has a lot going for him but as far as lazy weapon platforms go rhino takes the edge, arguably.
